A clean well run hotel with a really good restaurant, rooms cleaned regularly and fresh towels plentiful, Quiet for sleeping and a good shower. Breakfast varied and a great coffee machine, A bit hilly to get back by foot.. but you get used to it.. and plenty of taxis if required. Some nice people as guests .. most return every year!.

Arrived for 10 night stay in the Kelebek, room wasn't ready so had to wait for it to be cleaned even though we arrived late at night. Wasn't thoroughly cleaned, dirty clothes left in wardrobe, toilet had a leak etc. Didn't expect perfection due to Tui rating it only a 2 star so didn't want it to ruin our holiday. Felt unwelcome from the start and like staff were eyeing us to spend time at the bar and not happy we went out (we came to Kalkan to visit family so had lots of plans, not like we should have to explain ourselves to want to explore regardless). Went out on the first night for dinner with family, came back and staff were rude and stared as us as we walked past the bar to go to our room. Following morning went for breakfast which was awful, cold boiled eggs or sloppy scrambled eggs, poor selection of anything else. Didn't feel clean and we felt like we were constantly being judged and stared at. Spent an hour around the pool staff again staring and unwelcome. Then we spent the afternoon out with friends and family and came back with a bottle of coca cola and a water. My mum had logged a complaint with Tui that day to explain how they'd been feeling as they had been there before us and when we got back we got shouted at for leaving feedback (even though it wasn't us) and also they didn't do anything to discuss the feedback and try to make anything better. We got the coke and water taken off us and shouted at as there is a sign in the reception which we hadn't seen saying no food drink or WATER to be taken into the rooms from outside of the hotel. I have stayed in many hotels worldwide and never ever had this problem. It is just a way of them to force you to have to spend money in the hotel. We had had a long day we just wanted a drink for that evening and some water for the following morning and thought with there being fridges in the room surely that was ok. After taking it off us they proceeded to come upstairs and ask my husband to go downstairs twice and 2 members of staff were shouting at him in his face. We had no option but to book another villa and leave first thing the following morning as we felt unsafe. When we left early the next day one member of staff was shouting at us and chasing us up the street but as we didn't want to get into an argument we carried on walking and ignored him. Please do not ruin your holiday by staying in this hotel!

We hadn’t been at the property long before we realised that one of the older men who seemed to be in charge had a serious problem with us. He pulled me aside and said, “You’ve spent nothing at our bar and haven’t eaten at our restaurant.” His tone was angry and aggressive, and I was completely shocked. From that point on, we were made to feel unwelcome. We received constant dirty looks and were treated as though we’d done something wrong. One day as we passed the bar, he glared and pointed aggressively towards it. Another time, he asked if we were attending their weekly evening event. I replied that I’d let him know, as we had friends nearby making plans, and he clearly wasn’t happy about that. At breakfast, we felt watched and uncomfortable. The atmosphere was tense, and staff seemed annoyed and unfriendly, so we decided it was best not to eat there again. A few days later, my daughter and her husband arrived for their 10-night stay. I hadn’t told them what had been happening because I didn’t want to spoil their excitement. Unfortunately, they only lasted one night. When they brought two bottles of Coca-Cola to keep in their room fridge, staff took the bottles away and shouted at them, even though they weren’t planning to drink them around the pool. My daughter was very upset and rang me in tears. I contacted the company we booked through to explain the situation. Afterwards, two of the younger men called my son-in-law down and aggressively confronted him, pointing fingers and accusing him of making a complaint — even though it was me who had done so. We tried to avoid them by using a side gate, but one of the staff ran over angrily to stop us. At that point, we decided enough was enough, packed our things, and left early. As we walked away, the older man followed us up the street, shouting and threatening to call the police, even though we had done nothing wrong. I’m writing this review to warn others: unless you plan to spend most of your time eating and drinking at their bar and restaurant, expect poor treatment. They seem friendly only to those who spend a lot of money. It’s a shame, because the place itself could be lovely if the management treated all guests with respect.

Have been going to Turkey for years but first visit to Kalkan, What an amazing place. Kelebek Hotel is a lovely family run hidden gem, close to town. The family that run the hotel are warm and friendly. Couldn’t do enough for you. Not forgetting the amazing staff there and of course, the lovely Ruby. Loved it so much we booked again while we were there. See you all in October, thank you for making us feel so welcome. You guys are awesome!

We booked this apartment as our previous booking fell through and we were so glad we did! We stayed in 102 which is the furthest apartment away from the road and right next to the pool. The location of the apartments is perfect as it’s a few minutes walk to 2 supermarkets and a little further to the start of the bars and restaurants. The apartment had been recently refurbished and it had everything we needed - particularly as we were staying for six weeks. Full oven, hob, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher were all included. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery and anything else we asked for eg a toaster was quickly provided. The shower room was fully tiled with plenty of storage under the sink and there was never a shortage of hot water. The bedroom was perfectly comfortable with an adequate wardrobe and bedside storage. And there was a table and chairs outside on a patio area. It was perfect for us and we will book to return next year.

Lovely family run hotel and the family and staff were so warm and friendly. Food was lovely and homemade. Room was clean and had lovely comfortable beds. We had a fantastic view of Kalkan bay from the room and balcony. The shower was powerful and plenty of hot water. The hotel is well situated for walking into town, shops and weekly market. The pool and bathing platform got all day sun 🌞 Thank you for a lovely holiday 👍💕
