Fantastic service, very nice and friendly staff and owner. Value for your money. Breakfast was tops, so "big" and delicious. Every morning something new on the plate so beautifully prepared. If we travel to Tzaneen again, we will definitely go back to this place. This can be recommended at any time.

My family and I frequent the guesthouse during the festive period and it’s always a beautiful, tranquil and worthwhile experience. Each point of contact from the booking to correspondence with management, went seamlessly. The manager, Natalie, met us with the warmest smile, was so accommodating when we needed it, and went out of her way to ensure that we felt valued. The chef, Mapula, makes delicious breakfasts and even something as small as getting medium eggs done right (gooey, not runny) made the stay just that much better. A variation in the breakfast style and plating would be welcome. The floor boards of the passageway upstairs are also still a little croaky, but other than that, I’ve experienced the service and quality of other guesthouses in the area and I’d choose La Baruné every single time. Always an absolute pleasure!

The location is good, it has a secure parking for the vehicle. Nice, beautiful and relaxing back yard with a swimming pool that is soo clean. The rooms were exceptionally good. For the price I was expecting to have a Buffet breakfast.
