We were very happy with our choice of hotel. It has a nice atmosphere, not only based on looks but especially because of the friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was nice and plentiful, we especially liked the home made blueberry, raspberry and apricot cakes and very good endless coffee. Would definitely recommend this place for couples, it was close to the center of town (maybe 200m), yet in a peaceful and quiet location. It was the perfect base for our hiking trips.

We ended a number of walks at the restaurant as they serve local Trautenberk beer. The food was good and the menu had a good variety on offer. Staff were friendly and spoke a mixture of German, English and Czech. Terrace felt like you were still out in the mountains but you are only 100 or so metres from the centre
