The accommodation was spacious, with a full kitchen, lounge area and a king size, comfortable bed. Everything was airconditioned. Common areas, with braai facilities and swimming pool were well maintained as were the gardens. The property and parking is secure with a night guard on duty. We ate at the on-site restaurant and this was the best meal of our trip - well done!

Based on value for money the place was clean and the room was well equipped and provides an excellent affordable alternative to staying in the Nation Parks Board Camp at Crocodile Bridge. What let the place down was the food, not part of the basic room package. Gordon Ramsey would say they had too many things on the menu and there was not enough focus on quality, so unless it improves would recommend self catering or find some place else to eat.

we have stayed at The Stoep several times, on our own and with our family. The accomadtion is really good. The rooms are well appointed and nicely decortated. They are very clean , with clean linen and towels. We find it quiet and an excellent stop over to and from Mozambique. The staff are very friendly, the food good. They also go the extra mile- couriering things we left behind efficielty and prompty. We will defintely return!

A wonderful stop-over on the way to the Mozambique border. A charming building, clean, friendly staff with wonderful food served on a glorious porch....just what we needed!
