The place could be wanderful, the location is beautiful with views of the sea and the Carmel mount and a lot of green. They offer wellness activities such as yoga classes in the morning thay I liked and some activities for children. The common spaces are nice, but not well maintained. The rooms need a deep renovation, some colorful painting and decoration pieces from the flea market are not enough to make an old room comfortable and cozy. We took a big room that was quite new, but lacking basics like a shower curtain, also it had a kind of balcony with shabby furniture and dirt floor... The breakfast has only a few choices, the taste was not bad but at least once the bread was not fresh. The coffee is good. The place advertises that it has a swimming pool, but this summer the near pool is closed to the hotel clients (the reason is not clear , since the pool is open) and they don't tell the visitors about it until one day they before they arrive when it is too late to cancel the vacations. They offer free tickets to another swimming pool 13 km far away which is nice but we paid for a pool that is located at walking distance from the room. Overall the value for money of Selina is low.

The location and view from Brit Oren are great, also the conman areas of the hotel are nice. Yet the rooms are really something to be a shame of. It’s look more like a poor guesthouse. Now I wouldn’t build expectations if I wasn’t charged so much. Very overpriced and overrated. Last for me at any Selina.

I booked a vacation back in September for December 2023 at the SELINA Beit Oren hotel. After the terror attack by Hamas and the start of this war, I tried to cancel but surprised when no one understand the situation! They only offered to postpone the dates and no cancel. finally I agreed to left the date as is despite the security risk. I called 2 days before the vacation Just to check something about the room. And by chance I was told that the hotel is actually full with people from south/north evacuations ! And they moved the date to January on their own decision without saying anything to me!! A whole month they didn't agree to cancel the vacation but decided to book rooms for people even the rooms are already booked!! And after all that, they aren't even refund me! Despite explaining that I'm pregnant and don't have the ability to postpone!! Only after pleading and talking about legal action, they agreed to refund and even that - only until 30 days.

This property is on the site of a former kibbutz overlooking the mountains and sea. The staff are very friendly and professional and the breakfast was diverse and well prepared.

Poor rooms, can here the neighboors. No mirror , not looking good. Breakfast quite good, not so good cofee. The place looks very good and the weather is better than Israel coast. The pool opens only at 10 am. The restaurant for dinner does not have good service

Way way over priced for the level of service. The room was disappointing to say the least. The place is not clean, it smelled like sewerage and we had cockroaches :( I wouldn’t recommend it for a family trip nor a couple’s vacation. The view is really nice

Although surrounded by the beautiful carmel mountains, this hotel is no more than old Kibbutz houses which received a minimal facelift but a nice exotic name, and charging 750 shekels ($250) per night! Our room was small and sparsely furnished with a very uncomfortable table and 2 coffee table on each side. That is it!

This restaurant located in Mantur hotel in the heart of Carmel Mountain in Kibbutz Beit Oren. We had here dinner lately and felt in love with this place. Great view, fresh air, spacious tables, good service, reasonable prices. Good choice for vegetariand, nice wine list. Could be great for the occasions with friends and family. At the entrance of the kibutz you have to call to te restaurant and they will open the gate. Check for a table and enjoy!

We reserved a family suite for two nights at the total cost of $1,400 (about 4,400 shekels). The room description included a minibar, kitchenette, and coffee, as well as a jacuzzi. When we arrived, there was a mini-fridge and a coffee maker, no other kitchen-like items. The jacuzzi was not working, and only after inquiring twice, we were told that "it was a known problem" (it seems none of the Jacuzzis work on this property). This was a disappointment to us, considering the price point of this room ($700/night!!) Additionally, the shower was not enclosed, so we needed to use a mop every time we showered to avoid water leaking into the room. Likewise, breakfast was not served on time because staff didn't show up. At the end of our stay and following several conversations with the management, Beit Oren offered us 25% towards our next stay, which was a stay we had booked following this stay at another Selina location. The manager assured us that she had entered the price adjustment into the system, but when we got to the other location, they were not aware of the discount. When we tried to address this issue, Beit Oren was unresponsive at first. Only after numerous calls and texts, we were able to finally get a hold of them, we were told that general manager decided to renege on the promise to provide us with 25% off at our next booked location, stating we could have a 25% voucher for "future stays", meaning only if we booked another stay with Selina within 12 months. In light of our experience, we do not plan to book future stays with Selina and would recommend that others avoid Selina properties.

We came for a family weekend, we couldn’t ignore the dirt all around public areas. From the lobby, restaurant area and everywhere, there were dogs poop on the grass, cigarettes on the floors, broken glasses in restaurant floor and the floors were sticky. We didn’t see anyone cleaning on our 2 days stay. The dirt was still there. I must mention that the room was clean. It seems like a group of youngsters run the place…
