Loved this hotel!
We had such a good time wandering the halls looking at the eclectic artwork and nostalgia. Gathering the pieces must have been such a fun job. We could have stayed there for weeks and not noticed everything, it seems that we walked past the same places several times and would then notice something new.
Our room was large and clean with a huge bathroom and fun decor in there too. Love that each room is unique.

A very unique and funky place to stay! Our room didn't have AC on when we arrived, and we were also given the sports room that wasn't our style, but the staff were friendly and assisted so we had the sunset room. Restaurant on-site was excellent. We would definitely stay again.

Staff were Fantastic! The Restaurant on site was good. The decor was truly unique. The rooms were clean and the Bed was super comfy. Would recommend 100%!

My stay was amazing and I have no complaints, but I do have one recommendation.
Top. Latch. Lock. The door locks with a deadbolt inside but you pull the handle & the door just opens. Locked or not. I realize a lot of kids probably don’t stay here but very unsafe. All I will say is the woman working the front desk over night Friday to Saturday deserves a raise. Manager is amazing to work with and very kind.

The Main Street area of this town is very rough with lots of empty stores and few amenities. Looks like the city is trying to ‘’spruce up’’ but a long way to go. I was born and raised in this town and it looked better in 1985.

Our stay at Retro Suites in Chatham was nothing short of amazing. We were greeted warmly and checked in quickly by the concierge, which set the tone for a smooth and relaxing visit.
We stayed in the Prince William Room—spacious, luxurious, and full of charm. The room was beautifully decorated and felt both decadent and comfortable. Every detail felt carefully curated, offering a unique blend of elegance and personality.
One of our favourite parts of the hotel was the lobby—it's like walking through an art gallery. Everywhere you look, there's something creative and eye-catching, giving the entire space a fun and inspiring vibe.
Highly recommend Retro Suites to anyone looking for a stylish, memorable getaway in Chatham. We’ll definitely be back!
