The hotel was clean and quiet, but the pool was out of order both the evening and next morning, and that was what my girls were most excited for.

Very nice hotel and well situated. Word of caution: they are renovating bathrooms. We asked for a quiet room but got placed next to one of the work sites. We got to listen to loud drilling sounds until 5 pm and they started up the next morning at 8 am. They did offer to move us a room that was one further away after I complained, but we were already settled in. In future if someone asks for a quiet room, it would make sense to not put them next to an active construction site, especially since it was a Monday night and off season. Also if you request a river view room, it’s a $40 upcharge.

Staff were courteous and helpful when you could find them, especially in the bar/restaurant. Also, it wasn’t obvious what the room cleaning schedule was or if they had been in or not. But to be clear the room was clean and comfortable.

I arrived Friday evening to meet some family in town with my 5 year old, our first room had a ton of dirty towels in our closet but I tried to ignore it. Went to put my child to bed and there was black stuff all on the white sheets that was impossible to miss. I called down and they apologized and moved us only for the other room to have dirty sheets as well. Not set in stains but physical black dirt as if they didn't change the sheets at all. By that time it's was getting late but we couldn't sleep in those beds, I called down again and they moved us a 3rd time to a renovated room across the hall from our first room that was very clean. I just don't know why they gave me two dirty rooms before giving me a clean one. They offered nothing for the trouble and my daughter and I didn't go to bed until almost midnight. They had no one to speak with me the entire weekend and pretty much treated it as whatever my entire stay. The manager finally reached out today after I had to follow up AGAIN only to offer 75 dollars off our 500 dollar stay and a hope we will be back... Absolutely unacceptable and they should lose their license for giving me two rooms with very dirty sheets, a clean bed is really the bare minimum when using a hotel and they didn't really do anything to make me feel like they were sorry for the all around disgusting experience. Won't be back and neither will the rest of our family.

We reserved a room with a king and were put in a room with 2 queens. If we wanted 2 queens, that is what we would have reserved. The staff was short handed and did not have rooms ready by check in time.
