It was a quick one night stay. Reception staff were very friendly and efficient. It reminded me of a American Motel in the outside block. Clean inside, hot shower and amenities so all good. Just to note the A1 is on one side and the train on the other. Lots of parking. Very good value for money. Unfortunately I arrived late so could not have a meal here. Looks like good reviews for food and looked very clean and smart in the restaurant. Would stay again.

It is cheaper than most stays and conveniently placed.
Huge bed, in huge sparsely decorated room. Bed comfortable if you don’t mind no mattress cover.Soft pillows. Amenities Spartan. Good for one or two nights tops.

Large room with all you’d need for a short stay, but no frills. The decor is a quite bleak.
Value for money with the real bonus of private parking and a short drive from the centre of Newark or access the bi-monthly antiques fair at the showground.
Excellent Indian restaurant right on the doorstep.

Perfect stay. Clean, comfortable, very spacious room and bathroom, excellent value for money. Great location for links around the locality. Would absolutely stay again. Despite being near train tracks and the dual carriage way, it was not an issue. The restaurant was very busy during the weekend we stayed, we didn’t hear anything. Lovely and friendly proprietors.

Room passable. Extremely busy restaurant
Hotel chosen for location. We stayed on a Saturday night, hadn’t realised that it was an Indian restaurant and takeaway with motel style rooms next door. The car park was packed, the guy who checked us in wasn’t particularly friendly and was more interested in the customers for the restaurant. However, the room was large as was the bathroom and it was a bed for the night. Would we stay again? Probably not. I was able to move my car to a space outside the room once the restaurant had closed. It’s award winning apparently and great it’s so busy clearly deservedly so. Maybe just work on customer service for motel guests. It was cheap though so you get what you pay for! One of the takeaways being collected whilst we waited was double the price of what we paid for the room. Might revisit for a meal if we’re ever in the area again,

The room smells like a heavy smoker been in here smells dirty no mattress protector I'm laid here carnt wait till safe to drive the beds every thing smells awful the restaurant was lovely bit never would I come here again to stay would be cleaner and smell fresher outside I'm so dissatisfied to scared to touch anything it really is disgusting

Great location , easy check in and out . Large clean room with tidy spacious bathroom.
