Room and staff were great. Easy check in. The only issue was that we requested a non smoking room and wehen we got to the room we opened the door and all we could smell was cigarette smoke.We informed the manager, then went out and bought spray to get rid of the smell.

The property over all was kept very clean. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with plenty of towels! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast options were simple but plentyful. With hot and cold options. This will be my go to hotel whenever I travel to St. Charles, which is several times a year.

Overall very happy with the stay. The not so great...the pool leaves a bit to be desired, as it gives "the neighbors don't really take care of their pool" energy and is small but it is free with your stay so there's that. The breakfast was bland but fully eatable just needed some tlc. The good things far outweigh lackluster breakfast and oversized kiddie pool..the staff is incredibly effecient and polite, the building is older but clean, no weird smells, and i was not afraid to touch anything. Housekeeping quicky and quietly ensuring we had new towels every day. i would not hesitate to stay here again.

Clean comfy and convenient
Very clean and well maintained from public hallways to room. Comfy bed. Pretty good towels and bath linens. Good ac. Looked like new carpet and paint in public areas. Breakfast was slim. Consisted of scrambled eggs, gravy, biscuits, apples and 2 cereals. Coffee but no hot water for tea or oatmeal packets. Other than that it was clean and comfortable and a good value compared to other hotels along our travel route.

Everywhere was dirty. Hallways, elevator and the room was very dirty. There were several pieces of long hair in the bathroom, the chair was nasty, the dust was thick on the vents, the bathroom light switch was disgusting and the blow dryer plug in part was all black and nasty. Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Overall, just felt gross. I couldn't even stomach the thought of eating any of the food at breakfast considering the lack of caring for cleanliness.

Super 8 is a basic motel, but I appreciate that the bedding is comfortable, the room is clean, and the microwave and fridge are handy. I didn't use them this trip, but I have done so in the past (esp when traveling with kids) and it's something I appreciate having as an amenity.

Staff was friendly my guess is that’s why at 10pm there were people still in the pool with kids screaming and running all over the place. We got a room in the 3rd floor and thought it was going to be better, there were kids running and being super loud in the hallway too at 10pm. Room was clean, bed clean too but the place is so deteriorating. For a 1 night stay is ok but not worth the price.

Right off I-70 and honestly a great stop. Extra comfy beds, quiet even by the highway, fridge/microwave/coffee pot, and breakfast included. Affordable and everything you need when passing through. ⭐️ 9/10
