What an amazing family, we were treated like it was are home! Emil, Greeta and Jimmy are such lovely people and drive us anywhere we wanted ( like the beer and wine shops sorry Emil 😉) they honestly could t of done enough for us all! You have too try Greetas food so yummy

It was a very pleasant stay. Good A/C, no frills, not tv, but comfortable. Very welcoming and friendly family (Grita, Jimmy and Emile). They booked for us after our arriving a tour boat. By the way, horrible customer service from this boat company "Anugrama Group" and very expensive too, so I do not recommend it, don't take it! They also let our driver car to park there overnight since he was sleeping in another place and even invite him for dinner and drop him later at the bus station, just beyond amazing customer service!!! Please note that, this is not a hotel is like being in a friend house in a relaxed ambiance with homemade fresh meals (delicious breakfast and dinner) and a beautiful fishermen beach a couple of steps away. Besides the beach, the areas surrounding the homestay there's nothing else to do or see. Enjoy the beach! Pictures from the beach in the back of the Homestay with fishermen. With our host family and of the very rude guy from the boat trip company with the front of his office to avoid, some of the boat pity conditions too.

We had a very nice stay with Jimmy, Greeta and Emiel. We felt very welcome, the family is just so friendly and is there to help you. Greeta is a good cook; she make delicious breakfast and big portions, we enjoyed that very much. The room is very clean. The beach is within walking distance and the most beautiful beach we have seen so far in India. When we are in Alleppey again we will definitely come back!

This is a lovely, laid-back place, round the corner from the beach. It's easygoing and low maintenance, and you need to be comfortable with basic facilities. That said, the host family is kind and helpful, and the home cooked food is great. What's not to love.

I was one night at Achayans Homestay and found the most welcoming host family. They are very kind and helped me with everything. The room was spacious and clean with aircon and hot water. Their son Emil even came with me to the train station to make sure that I find the right train :-)

Lovely, relaxing stay near the beach.
Remember, this is not about a 5 star stay. This is a family home near the beach. Jimmy, his wife and his son Emile, offer a delightful, 'all we can do to help' environment. It's lovely and your not trashing the environment with loads of ultimately unnecessary extras. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Great home cooking...excellent trips and good aircon. Thanks guys.

A lovely homestay run by a very welcoming couple and their son. The room was comfortable (a/c worked well, thankfully), dinner and breakfast were delicious. The area is also convenient, close to Marari beach and not too far from the houseboats in Alleppey. Highly recommended!
