Overall a very nice stay, though the rooms we stayed in were not as new as some of Tru hotels we have stayed in, and could use a little maintenance, especially around the shower area where the water is most prevalent, they were still nicer than some hotels we have stayed at. The Staff was friendly and helpful, the outside property was well kept, as was the common areas. The cooked Breakfast left something to be desired, as the eggs were not good. Pancake maker was nice though, and the selection of breads/muffins and bagels was typical. Would stay again without a doubt.

Dirty socks
Our room was clean and comfortable enough, but smelled a little bit like dirty socks. I couldn’t quite figure out where it was coming from but overall, it was a nice room.

This is our first time staying at a TRU by Hilton. It was very modern and fun. Extremely clean. Bed was comfortable. Room was very well maintained. Will definitely stay at another one in the future

This was a great facility. The hotel
Was super clean and close to JMU so we got to everything quickly. Bed was comfy. We even had time to enjoy a few games of pool in the evening. The only thing that could use improvement is some new cue sticks. They were not great. Small thing to complain about ;). The workout area was nice and clean as well with a decent variety of weights and machines.

Overall I liked the property. The only thing I would say is that my bathroom had a slight sewar smell (which was noticeable). Also, the bathroom mirror light had a small electrical trip. Also, the walls were thin and I could hear the conversation of the next door room. Other than those mentioned things, it was clean and a nice place to lay my head as I moved my daughter into JMU for her upcoming school year.
