My husband didn't actually stay, but walked through on his Land's End to John O'Groats epic solo walk. Day 45 and whilst passing through asked to use the toilet. Huge backpack with Dementia flag flying, so obvious a hiker and not a trouble causer, but no, 'you cannot use the toilets as you are not staying with us'. Not my usual friendly welcome.

I really did not enjoy my stay here. I arrived before lunch as I couldn't do the walk that day due to injury. Weather wasn't favourable, but I was not allowed into the hostel to rest my leg or shelter from the weather in the lounge area as "checkout is from 3pm". Kinlochleven is a small, quaint village, but there isn't a lot to do when you can't walk far. The bunk beds were very cramped and uncomfortable and the pillows should have been replaced a long time ago. Would never stay here again.

酒店回复: Many thanks for your review and feedback. - we are very disappointed to learn that you did not enjoy your stay with us. All bookings are informed that check in is available from 3pm when you make the reservation - which is a very standard check in time. You declined choosing not to book an early check in which would have allowed early entry so unfortunately the hostel was closed and your room was not ready. Kinlochleven is indeed a very small village which is not a reflection on our business so a little unfair to have reviewed us so severely on something outwith our control. We do clearly advertise to be a backpackers and outdoor activist hostel so perhaps the expectation on arrival was not what you had expected - our rooms are all advertised with up to date photos and sizes as we do try to be as candid as possible to avoid people's disappointment and to manage expectations to the best we can. With regards to pillows however - we are indeed replacing these - the business closes next week for the end of the season and we certainly are replacing these so our apologies for this aspect. Many thanks again for staying with us and we wish you all the best.

7 of us resided at Blackwater for my Dad's 100th WHW....wow what amazing hostel, exceptionally clean, staff are amazing and helpful, rooms are very quiet and spacious, can't wait to come back! Thank you guys!

We stayed in one of the pods while doing the WHW, it was.nice and clean and offered a microwave and fridge, heater, fan and a TV. Shared showers were nice and warm. We hired a towel plus sleeping bag and liner all ready for.usnon our arrival. Nice place right next to the hydropower station.

I stayed 1 night in the hostel. I had booked sole use of a bunkroom. Lovely and clean, with private bathroom and shower. Very spacious and clean lounge and kitchen. Loads of fridge space to store your food and another fridge for any unwanted food you could help yourself to or leave for others. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great hostel and would stay again.

在这里住了一晚，预订了一间豪华露营小屋，看起来很新，配备了小冰箱、微波炉、水壶，甚至还有电视。评级不佳是由于热和蠓。豆荚变得很热，我妻子无法呼吸，但你不能打开门，因为蠓会活活吃掉你！有一个小风扇，后窗上有蚊帐，但无法让空气流通。我们最后睡在车里哈哈。旅馆本身位于旧铝厂的边缘，在豪华露营区旁边有一个小草地，可用于搭建帐篷。淋浴和厕所都很好，水槽旁边有一个自动售货机，有冷热水。
