Just completed a weeks stay at Le Britainia. Apartment was cleaned & well maintained upon arrival. Was pleased with the fact the bed was made up on arrival…. Not heard of before in Pierre Vacance! Also had a Nespresso machine ( with pods available in Sherpa downstairs) which was a nice surprise We had an apartment on the 3rd floor, overlooking the piste & seating area of the ski lodge(busiest pub in town)I was a little concerned that the noise may be a little too much, but it was no issue and actually provided a little entertainment watching folk try to ski away after their ‘apres’ Like most PV properties, no bar or restaurant on site. We tried Ski Lodge, which is mega busy/loud….. much preferred utilising the bar area of the hotel Montana down the road, they don’t mind non residents using it. Also used la Taiga bar down the road which was pleasant. Had to enquire at reception a few times in our stay - very helpful & efficient. Thank you Ociane, a real credit to Le Britannia & the PV brand! Look forward to returned next year!

Excellent location with easy ski in/out access. There is also a grocery store right next door. The room was cold when we first entered the unit because the complex keeps everything at 19 degrees celsius. Initially we were worried that we might not be able to adjust the temperature as it took us a while to figure out how to turn on the heaters. Linens are provided but you have to make up the bed. The kitchen included frig, dishwasher, microwave, stove top and plenty of plates, glasses, cups and cutlery. Only one roll of toilet paper is provided. Toiletries were one small soap and shampoo. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower/tub combo worked well. Only complaint was the wifi. It would cut out intermittently. They did service the router after we spoke to the front desk which seemed to help. No english tv channels (surprising given the amount of english visitors). We took the shuttles to visit the other villages - get the map from the tourist office as transfers are required.
