⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 Star) I would not recommend this hotel and certainly would not return. The negatives: Strict no-refund policy – I booked by mistake and couldn’t cancel even though it was 4 months before my travel date. Dirty carpets and overall poor cleanliness throughout the hotel. Towels were only changed once during a 7-night stay, and that was on the last night. Parking is very limited and inconvenient. No blackout curtains – I was woken up by daylight at 6am every morning. The bath was so small it wouldn’t even be suitable for a toddler. The advertised buffet restaurant was closed, yet still listed on the website. Bars and restaurants on-site were always empty, likely because the menu was overpriced and very limited. Outdated décor and furniture – the whole place feels like it badly needs an update. Overall: The hotel feels run-down, not maintained, and definitely not worth the money. A very disappointing experience. The only positive: Excellent WiFi. Final verdict: Do not waste your money.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but had a delicious meal at the restaurant with a wonderful view of the Bay. The home cooked style of food was fantastic. My kids loved the butter chicken and the chicken biriyani was perfect with a lovely garlic naan and raita. The staff were all very polite and it was a very relaxing genial atmosphere. Hands down the best Indian meal we've had in Shanklin - and we've tried them all. We will definitely be back to try to new larger menu.

We were staying in an Airbnb nearby and happened to walk by and noticed the Indian food menu on the board outside the hotel so we decided to stop for some food / drinks. Honestly, the Indian food is some of the best we’ve ever tasted and the service was superb. Would wholeheartedly recommend!

Wow, lovely family run hotel! Stayed in room 14, nothing was too much trouble, room was clean and modern. Home cooked Indian food was amazing ( you need to pre book this) had full English breakfast which was also very good. Lovely view from the verandah. Family there really friendly and lovely. Will come back again. Well done guys, keep up the good work!

The hotel is in a good location with ample parking and comfortable bedrooms. However there is a lingering and pungent smell of Indian food in the building despite electric air fresheners being employed. We had several problems with our evening meal and did not get a response to our complaint. The shower control was very stiff and difficult to turn off.
