The staff were brilliant, right from Check in to departure, they couldnt do enough for you. Rooms were lovely and clean, food in the evening was superb also as well as breakfast.

The luxury room was basic tired b&b at best: curtains barely closed, window wouldn't close because ivy was growing in, bathroom very tired - the bath had been resealed numerous times over, the vanity unity held together with staples / sellotape and a toilet which took ages to fill.
Room wasn't refreshed mid stay. The night entrance didn't work properly so would've been easy to get locked out after hours.
Table booked for 7:30 on a Sunday eve to be told last food orders were 7:30 with a hard cutoff (no mention when the table was booked, guest information pack in room states 8:00). Took the shine off an otherwise good day.
Breakfast - good hot menu selection, the full English was really good. Cold selection was very basic - good choice of cereals but nothing else; no fruit, no yoghurt, nothing continental.

The service, food and drink here was amazing. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the views just down the road made for an amazing sunset.
I would definitely stay here again.

Stunning location - breathtaking views. Room was large, comfy bed, great en-suite shower room. Tea and coffee and complimentary water and biscuits. Easy to park. 10 min drive from wedding venue Healy Barn. Great breakfast. Lovely staff. Would definitely return, thank you Anchor Inn
