Booked 3 nights in a 2 bed room for wife, daughter, and my self months in advance. Upon check in was told that they gave our room to a softball team that checked in that afternoon and they had a king bed available for the night and would move us to the correct room tomorrow. Talked to manager the next morning and he assured us he would have our room ready when we got back to the hotel that afternoon and he would hold our luggage in his office in the meantime. Upon arrival back to the hotel we see our luggage just our in the lobby where we left it for the manager to put in his office and then are told that they were unable to get us in the correct room but were able to keep the same room we were in available. Was given a couple drink vouchers for the inconvenience, went to the bar and ordered us a couple cocktails to unwind then when paying the tab bar tender tells me the vouchers are only good for beer. Manager over promised and under delivered! The food at the restaurant was over price and not good.

While the staff were all very kind, friendly and helpful, the hotel systems and infrastructure were somewhat less than ideal. For example, the phone inside the hotel room was nonfunctional and to call for service I needed to use my cell phone, to call the front desk, to get transferred to the appropriate department. I needed to call multiple times to have house keeping send up an extra blanket and it took hours to arrive. Each one of our room service orders was missing an item, every single time. I felt bad having to call room service repeatedly to have them bring up missing food or drinks.
The shower was also very slippery and lacked a mat. I hat to lay down a towel so I would slip. I also slammed my finger in the handle of the sliding bathroom door. The door needs to have a stopper or a soft close, or the handle needs to be repositioned.
That aside, the staff were apologetic and kind. The bed was comfy. The hotel lobby was clean, modern and comfortable. I think the service can be greatly improved with better staff training, bathroom safety issues and systems in place.

The valet area and the check in desk areas should be switched around. Had breakfast/brunch there and it was excellant!

Was supposed to have a king room. They gave me a lower tier room and it’s was late so I just went to sleep

The staff were immediately helpful. The pool was very nice and enjoyable. The location was great! Close the river and lots of downtown shops and restaurants.
