The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The location was convenient and my kids enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub.

Tv didn’t work so we tried calling the front desk but there was no answer so we went without the tv.
There was a “sewer” odor in the room.
Stopped by front desk to check out and let them know about the non working tv and smell in the room but no one came to the desk after ringing the bell.

Unfortunately the sewer smell that you noticed is a relatively common complaint from some of our guests, as we have a paper mill just on the other side of the river in Lewiston. A Step Above The Rest
Friendly staff throughout the property. Hotel has recently gone through a remodel and update. The location has an easy access and looks clean and inviting from the outside - landscaping and lawns in great condition. Bed was newer - firm, but seems that’s what all these hotels are doing now. HVAC system was efficient and hallways were wide and well lit. Breakfast was one of the highlights of this stay. Seldom do you find a short-order cook right in the kitchen, accessible and responsive to make eggs and omelettes made to order. Hope they keep this as it is a signature extra setting the hotel apart from most others. Biscuits and gravy always good, and the variety of the standards for families is evident.

We stayed at the same property last year. We liked the property and especially the indoor pool! They have an omlet bar everyday. You can also order fried eggs. We were there for 3 days and each day that had quite a bit of sausage and potatoes with onions and peppers. One day they had thick pieces of ham. They have a yoghurt machine. They have a waffle area with fruit toppings.

Poor customer service
We were told that we could check in early because we had been driving all night long and they did not have a room available and kept telling us over and over again that they would check us in early as soon as the room was available and then we were rudely told that no check-in will be done before 3 PM and at 3 PM. They didn’t even have a room for us

At that time, we phoned the third-party website and they gave us permission to make your reservation here on our end (which was required of us), and allow us to use the pre-paid virtual credit card in their system for your reservation. This was not the fault of our hotel, however we do understand that the situation must have been frustrating for you. Additionally, you were requesting to check in at 8AM, which was not possible as we were sold out the previous night and had zero rooms clean and available for anyone to check in at 8 AM. Hotels generally do not allow an early check-in to occur before 12:00 noon at the very earliest and with an additional early check-in fee applied. In closing, although we understand your experience with your reservation was upsetting, we did all we could to assist you and it was not appropriate to take your frustration out on our staff using vulgarity, inappropriate language and threats. This is not acceptable under any circumstance and is not something we take lightly. Good day.

Housekeeping sucks, I stayed for 5 nights no cleaning or bedding change. Yes they showed up every other day to deliver towels and replenish soap and empty the garbage that’s all.

I need to share with you that if there are any personal items on the bed, our staff is not allowed to move them. Therefore your bed would not have been made nor would it have been changed out. After review of your room records during your stay with us, I see that was the case in this situation. Again, we regret that you were unhappy with this and hope that in the future you can let us know before you check out if there is something we can do to accommodate.
