Value for dollar is very very poor. Cairns has scores of better value holiday accommodation. You'd be better off parking your caravan outside a hotel or motel. Broken roads may be a reflection on the overall maintenance of the park, amenities and rooms. See photos. Recently a caravan burst into flames and was destroyed. See photo. It's weird ...a plumbing contractor,who lives elsewhere according to staff, uses the Holiday Park as his contracting storage area. His trucks and equipment comes and goes. Note the ramps on his truck- just the sort of thing children break their necks on. Watch your children closely. The pool area is great but the spa is on a timer and only lasts a few minutes.

Cabin was the cleanest and not dated. Park facilities were excellent. Friendly staff. Would r highly recommend

Powered site. Kids loved the turtle sanctuary. Cafe had good coffee. Camp kitchen was well equipped. Nice walk through parklands close by. Amenities block near the camp kitchen was filthy most of the time. It appeared as though it wasn’t cleaned regularly. Overflowing bins, no soap, dirty floors, dirty showers and hairy floors, dirty and grimy shallow water in the mop bucket that was supposed to be used to mop the shower after use. Toilet door broken for days on end. I ended up walking to the top amenities block which was cleaner. I probably wouldn’t stay her if I had to use the amenities block.

Floors felt oily, walls were mouldy and to top it off had to put the sheets on the bunk beds! Also you couldn’t actually lock the cabin door from the outside.
