We attended the Wellington Hotel for a pre Christmas festive family meal last night. There were 13 adults and two children. We had a variety of starters, mains and desserts from both the festive and normal menu which included steaks too. All meals were served hot, well presented and very enjoyable to eat. Our compliments go to Adam & Justin front of house and to the kitchen team that catered for us last night. This is the 3 visit this month for myself personally having received a complimentary NHS meal on 1st Dec when I dined with my hubby and a revisit with a group of girl friend on Fri 19th. During all of these visits the food has been top class along with the service (sorry can’t remember all the servers names). Special mention must go to Gladys though who is a Welly stalwart, always cheery and provides a very friendly welcome. It is wonderful to see the Wellington Hotel busy and with the current standard of food being presented so high it is not surprising to see why. Congratulations must go to Michael and his team for really turning The Welly around in these post Covid years, it’s is a pleasure to visit. Food was fantastic, service was very good. Tomahawk steak for fathers day, what more could a dad want. The level head lager was fantastic too. Mrs had some chicken fajitas and was very impressed also. This isn't just pub food, this is a reasonably priced restaurant. Well done staff!

All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast was good and could be altered to suit different tastes.
The bus service to get into town is a short walk from the hotel.
It is not the best hotel and it is not the worst hotel by a long way but it suited us and we look forward to our next visit.

Popped in for lunch today with my wife. There seems to have been a change of staff recently but this did not detract from the excellent service. Seen promptly and all very pleasant with Lotus particularly so. We both had gammon steak, chips and peas while my wife had the advertised fried egg and I changed this for pineapple. As always, the gammon was of a good size, thick and delicious. Always a pleasure to pop in here for lunch.

我在酒店住了三个晚上，餐厅整洁而忙碌，但住宿条件却是另一回事。我预订了一间双人房。到达房间后，我发现墙纸撕破了，只有 1 个杯子和 1 条链子，只有 1 个床头柜和 1 个台灯。对于一张双人床，第二个床头灯的电缆已从插座上切断。浴室里的淋浴间和洗脸盆都没有插头，所以如果有任何东西掉下来，它会直接流入下水道。晚上没有热水。这是11号房间，当我意识到早上没有热水时，我去了接待处，我被告知房间只适合1人，因为我自己住，所以1个杯子、1把椅子和所有其他东西都被拿走了这是我的印象。然后我被转移到 1 号房间，那里的淋浴喷头没有锁定在高度可调节的杆上，但它接受了。当我晚上回到酒店取行李并搬到 1 号房间时，我回到 11 号房间，早上我被告知 11 号房间停止服务，直到房间修好，但当我回去时干净的毛巾是为另一个人坐的，所以房间显然没有停止服务，否则干净的毛巾不会放在床上。
