This was our second time to the lodge, after falling in love with it on our first stay 8 years ago. we couldn’t not return for our honeymoon. We had such a great time. The lodge really is a home from home, such modern contemporary mixed with culture, creating the stunning space. The details on our stay was outstanding the friendly staff can not to enough for you, great day trips Dennis really showed us true African culture and it the day trips such great fun. Elvis the best safari guide there is, this truly shows with the love he has for making it special for the guests. We was extremely lucky to see everything and more, we even got to see elephant and leopard and many more up close at the lodge. One part that makes the lodge so special is how personal Leanne and her team make it for it individually guest. We can not wait to return one day. Best wishes Jade and Connor

Kambuku Lodge is an excellent and peaceful resort, the perfect place to relax and unwind. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery that makes you feel truly disconnected from the rush of everyday life. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the service is consistently top-notch. Whether for a quiet getaway or a longer stay, Kambuku Lodge delivers an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

We had an unforgettable stay at Kambaku Luxury River House. It was the perfect place to relax with friends, spacious, cosy, and beautifully decorated. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The game drives into Kruger were action-packed, with incredible wildlife sightings, and the food was amazing. Evenings by the pool, with stunning river views, were the ideal way to unwind. The lodge is solar-powered, which is great for sustainability, and the curio shop offers unique items to take home. Kambaku Luxury River House is a perfect mix of adventure, comfort, and eco-friendly luxury. Can’t wait to return!

The lodge was designed to ensure maximum privacy. The rooms are beautifully and well laid out with every amenity you need. Every charming fitting was carefully selected. Loved my monkey chandelier. For me the filtered cold water dispenser was a winner. Got to see 12 hippos grazing next to the river and an egyptian goose tending to her gosslings. At night I heard the hyenas in the Park. The screen doors on the rooms keep out the insects and I did not even have to use the airconditioner. The fan and fresh air accompanied by all the night sounds lulled me to sleep. The fresh food was amazing. They also have a wonderful wine selection. Being able to communicate with my hosts via an App and WhatsApp made for a seamless experience without staff hovering around me unnecessarily. The pool was the perfect temperature. Every night a fire is lit next to your veranda thereby creating an authentic bush experience. The staff were all super efficient and extremely helpful. This lodge is located about 22 minutes from the Malelane Gate making it ideal for a day or few hours visit to the Kruger. I have high quality standards and always appreciate excellence when it crosses my path. Well done to all involved with Kambaku River Lodge - you got the recipe right for an unforgettable experience!
