First time stay at a Village Hotel and although the hotel is under referbishment we had a quiet,clean relaxing stay. Easy quick check in and out, great food and drink offers and under 15 mins to Chester. Staff were awesome. Well worth down loading the app for more offers.

Great hotel for a short stay. My only issue was that money was taken from my account at the end of our stay. If I hadn’t checked my statememt, I would not have noticed. It was over a £100. It took a week for it to be refunded however, the matter was dealt with politely and professionally.

Quite a pleasant stay
The hotel was very clean with comfortable beds. The shower was ok but there were a few leaks. We was surprized at no internet access on the TV. The bin emptying in the bathroom was not included in the room refresh. We only had breakfast during our stay which was OK but could have been improved if the hot food had been hotter. We considered the prices asked on the menus were on the high side.
I would consider staying again.

Some marks on two of the towels, was charged £3.50 for a tray for room service didn’t get a tray neither got got the spoons to eat our desert

The drains in my room smelt upon entering. The facilities look quite cheap. The rooms are noisy and the walls/doors are thin. Coffee in the room is horrible. Rooms are poorly lit. I've stayed here twice and had the same experience both times so wont be staying again.
