Don’t get conned this is the Villa Aqua Hotel, they seem to be rebranding but the photos are the same. Avoid this like the plague as per my review below. This is a new hotel and the rooms are perfectly adequate, however in just the few months that it has been open it is clear that there is a lack of care and the cleaning is sub standard, to the point that we had booked for six nights and only stayed one. On arriving the room had not been checked and there was faeces (I presume lizard) on the walls, floor, bedside table and bathroom, to make it worse we found a large dead cockroach in clear view under the table. We moved to a different room which was much the same, but this one had what looked like flying insects building nests in the bathroom. We did go back to the hotel to pick up a jumper but found it to be empty with no one there. The jumper was returned to us by a Grab driver who we had to pay for. It arrived wet and smelling of damp because it had, what we thought originally a kind gesture from the hotel, but quickly realised it was because this too had been covered in faeces which they had been unable to wash out. Avoid at all costs
