We have decided to celebrate Valentine's Day along with my friends and family. We have decided to celebrate Valentine's Day along with my friends and family (party of 9) in their property, as they have this Valentine's day event, which holds dinner buffet along with the serenade of a band. It was very exiting as many of us are balikbayans and have not been experiencing this kind of event for quite a while. The dinner starts at 6:00 (18:00 Hrs.) in the evening which lasts until 10:00 (22:00 Hrs.) in the evening. We arrived in the property at around 7:00 (19:00 Hrs.) in the evening. After registration and taking some photos on their booth (back drop), we were assisted to our seats. Disclaimer, the party of 9 consists of 5 senior citizens and 4 adults. We were shown to our assigned table which was by the beach. At first, it was kind of romantic as we are about to dine along in the shore, but later we realized, it was a location for total disaster. The sand is so porous that when we take a seat, we were literally sinking (not to exaggerate, but half of our mono bloc chairs were buried in the sand). Imagine how hard it was for my companions, who are senior citizens. The disaster piled up, when we went to the buffet table where as foods are almost consumed. Take note that it was only at 7:00 PM (19:00 Hrs.) during that time. I know it was not the Restaurant/Hotel's fault, when the food gets easily consumed, but come on! It was only an hour after the event had started. The misfortune we had experienced gets us through the ceiling, when the food we were expecting to be great and satisfying, were not. I know this one is very subjective, and thought it was only me who find their food (during Valentine's Day) not so delectable, but happens that all in our group have a mutual feeling about it, and feeling unsatisfied and felt like we have wasted our time and money on that event. Some of my companions mentioned that their foods were great in the hotel/restaurant, and that was why we decided to push it to their Valentine's day event. However, during that event, those companions of mine were so disappointed and felt sorry that they have recommended that place. I believe that this unfortunate time and experience we had in their/your property will be a challenge for improvement. One day, I wanted to come back to Philippines and to LU and experience the same experience they had before in your property. I believe, these comments are all manageable and interchangeable. I am looking forward for my next visit, and I hope I will have a good story to tell to my friends how great I have experienced from your property.

Lovely hotel resort on the beach. Great set up with plenty of shade and sitting areas. Nice bistro restaurant and cafe. Rooms clean, modern, tidy, and fresh. A little bit over priced for the rooms and the food. The big negative here at the moment is that right next door there is construction activity from 0730 onwards which prevents the morning lay in

Location is great as it has a beach front, area, same for their bar and restaurant with beach view which is perfect, it gets busy so order in advance for dinners and lunch. The atmosphere is good and staff were all helpful, the room we got is alright aircon though is near the bed which is very noticeable, but its fine and clean overall. They even have turn down service and we are also impressed about their personal touch in greeting us in the holidays with a simple but thoughtful card. Their pool is alright but not too big. I also like the choices of german beer in their restaurant. Price is also alright compared to other bigger hotels so i think its really a good final option resort.

Dont dine here if you are trying German Food.Breakfast also is not so worth paying. The aircon is located next to the bed.I dont know why it is placed there. The christmas deco that they hanged on their door is banging the door at night. Its disturbing sleep.

You are paying European prices for the food that is distinctly average. Whilst the setting is lovely the food is very expensive and very ordinary . The portions were modest, the meat was rubbery and vegetables seemed like they came straight out of the freezer. We ordered a pizza, two drinks and two small platers and we ended up paying over 2200 PH (which in Euro is around 37Euro!)

Well, cute resort but tonight's dinner was appalling. Firstly, we were told there was no French fries. Then when my husband ordered osso bucco with mash, he was pressured to have it with fries! I ordered a marinara pasta which came with no seafood. when i complained I got another plate with some processed crab stick on top! Seriously terrible. Eric the waiter needs some training in how to deal with such things. German food on next table looked good. The assets to this place are the staff who are friendly, helpful and lovely. Asked for some bacon at breakfast and was charged 200 pesos for 3 small strips. My husband asked for another cup of tea, and everyone acted like we were asking for something enormous. It just feels like they are grabbing you from every angle. We were really looking forward to it, but it ended up being one of the most disappointing stays in our trip to the Phillipines. I have to say, generally the hotels are poor quality for what you pay.

At first, we had a great time with our 3 nights stay. Very good service from the staff of the German bistro and resort cleaning lady. It was only when we were about to leave. When I approached my car to load our things, someone was spray painting his motorcycle, which of course worried me because my car was only 3 feet away from the bike. I called the attention of the person spray painting and I immediately transferred my car to avoid the mist of the spray paint. I calmly reported the incident at the reception area and was able to talk to the supervisor (half German guy) and eventually was able to talk to the German owner (who by the way did not admit that he was the owner). Both of them were just so defensive with my concern that they were not listening. This is not the customer service anyone expects from the ultimate decision maker of the resort! It was as if they were thinking that I just wanted to make money out of my customer concern. They actually didn’t believe me until they called their construction workers and asked if indeed it was true that someone was spray painting. When confirmed, mind you, that was the only time they apologized. There was No commitment on their part to have my car repaired (if proven by a professional that my car was damaged by the spray painting done). While having my stay at the resort, I was already organizing/planning of coming back together with my family which I think we will be able to occupy the whole resort, but after this incident on how I was treated by the half German supervisor and the German owner, this plan will definitely not push through. The long and short of this review is that, their staff gave us great service but the supervisor and the owner, FAILED in customer service. That’s a shame. They both avoided my valid customer concern.
