Staff was rude. Restroom in lobby was closed. We were directed to bathrooms down the street while we waited for our taxi to the airport. Floors were filthy, sticky mess was there all 4 days.

The only negative of our trip was the bathrooms needed a fan…. Too steamy
Also saw that rooms on floor 3 had dogs… which was also the breakfast floor..

Lobby lovely. Breakfast adequate and breakfast room clean. Hallways smelled and elevator floors dirty throughout stay. Room also had an unappealing smell, hair on the pillow case. In spite of cleanliness it was a convenient location.

I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn Salem. The location was perfect—close to all the attractions in downtown Salem, yet still quiet and comfortable. The room was very clean, modern, and well maintained, with a comfortable bed and plenty of space.
The staff were friendly, welcoming. Breakfast was a nice bonus, with a good variety to start the day. Parking was convenient, which made exploring Salem very easy.
Overall, I felt very comfortable and well taken care of. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Salem.

Our room was clean, the pool was great, the gym was super nice, breakfast was plentiful and had a great spread, the service was kind and helpful and the location was wonderful to be able to walk to everywhere in Salem. Our only two complaints, were that the pillows were horrible. We asked for more, and all six were bad. Also, if you are a light sleeper like us, there is a ton of road noise. We heard tons of honking and sirens every night and every morning that we stayed there for five nights. We didn't sleep well, even though the bed was very comfortable. Overall, we were happy with our stay!
