If you want a beautiful and relaxing stay, this is the place. It's so peaceful and absolutely gorgeous. The staff are incredible and super accommodating. The food was really yummy. They even provide transportation.

If you stay here please have an open-mind and realize this IS in a jungle BUT, you will be treated very well!
The hotel is "off the beaten path". You enter from a dirt road and it's not clearly marked where to go.
Checkin was easy and quick. We were met by the staff who we assumed were all family. Our luggage was taken to our room which overlooked a jungle, with all the sounds including chickens and roosters. The room was pretty secluded from the view of other rooms.
Within 30 minutes we met a cockroach. The room smelled of mold with a large mold spot coming from the ceiing. The room was very clean with fresh sheets.
The bathroom was in slight disrepair. A few rocks were missing from the wall. The soap was a combined bar of three used bars of soap. The bathtub was outside and very secluded however, the tubliner didn't fit and the rain shower-head was very low.
The outdoor pool needed a little repair. The pool table was well taken care of. The multiple viewpoints throughout the resort were well placed and comfortable looking. The outdoor toilet was the traditional hole in the ground with a bucket of water to wash. The landscaping was well-maintained and very beautiful.
We can't say express how amazing the staff was! They anticipated what we wanted and sometimes ran to get what we asked. The restaurant food was excellent and "made with love". Everything we tried seemed like a perfected family recipe. The overall service was excellent!
