I have been a guest in this hotel multiple times and it was always a solid choice in Asheville. This time however, I noticed changes that will make it less likely for me to return. Friends and family of staff (and possibly staff as well) are using the hotel and the pool as a hangout and rules like smoking in the pool area or no alcohol in the pool are not respected at all. If you are trying to complain about something, the concerns are brushed off and nothing happens. I am very pleased with the cleaning staff and want to acknowledge their outstanding work specifically but some of the other staff is really less than helpful. If you are traveling with children and you want them to have a nice time at the pool, you might want to find a different hotel. I know I will.

The hotel was great! The staff was very friendly, breakfast was really tasty & everything was very clean. The area around the hotel isn't the best but it's easy to get to off the interstate and to commute to area attractions.

Nice staff, clean hotel. Instead of telling me about the pet fee, I was charged $75 on my card. I’ve sent my service animals paper work to the manager and hopefully it will get reimbursed by the hotel.

The hotel was nicely designed. It felt relatively new in design. Rooms were very clean. Staff at the front desk were most helpful and attentive.

I did not realize how far from downtown Asheville and the area may still be under some recovery from Helene - it was a less desirable location nevertheless for my purposes.
