South Midland area is overall not the best place to be especially for a female. It is close to downtown (5 minutes drive) but the area.. maybe not the safest.
The hotel was surprisingly nice. Well renovated and clean.
Towels could be in much better condition along with detergent used. But other than that- I think everything was great.
It is the second hotel I tried in Midland, TX and the better one of two.

TV not workable. Light missing light bulb. Not enough towels to shower & wash hair & dry off. Bath Towels are too small and just not enough for two people for two days. No hand/face soap out, only bottle style in shower.

This is the second time we stay there during the summer and the pool is closed. They also allowed for a homeless person to stay in the lobby two days and the third day when they finally got him out there was a new one.

Bed was fine. But: breakfast buffet terrible, no eggs, bacon , etc 45 minutes before closing time of breakfast buffet. They refused to refill.
Coffee machine in room was broken. Ice cream from hotel store was $12. Seriously overpriced for one ice cream.

We reserved the room from the road about 2 hours out of Midland and arrived late-ish - about 2245. But were waited on and checked in promptly.
