The staff was friendly. Breakfast had variety and was good. They have smoking rooms. The room was good, but the cockroaches were not. That's my only complaint.

No pool time for me it being October. I came to meet up with friends the next day at Oglebayfest in Wheeling, and found this hotel quite handy. I grew up in the valley even though I live 3 hours away now. I remember when it was a Holiday Inn. Not sure if you get the customer traffic to support this thought, but the site does look a little outdated, although nice and clean. The Front desk people were efficient and friendly/helpful. The door insert card to open the hotel room door (I've used them or some like them all over the world) was a pain in the ass. Numerous attempts before it clicked. The bed was comfortable, the bath area was clean and stocked. It was a nice stay. The blueberry muffins and yogurt for breakfast were tasty.

The location of this property needs much better signage to find the road that leads to the property, especially at night.

Front desk staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. In the morning, the cleaning person was vacuuming the lobby and cleaning the front door window. Cleanliness is a virtue.
