I booked a hotel room for my guest. At first, the room looked clean and fine, so we decided to keep it. But once my guest started using it, a strong unpleasant smell came out that immediately irritated the eyes and throat. We complained to the manager, and he admitted there was an odor, but he refused to change the room unless we paid extra for a bigger one. Since that wasn’t fair, we went out to look for another hotel. When we returned and told the manager that we were leaving because the room was not livable, he said we had already checked in, so we had to pay the full price—even though my guest never stayed the night. On top of that, they added an extra service fee. The staff’s behavior was very rude. After check-in, they didn’t care about the guest’s comfort at all—only about taking the money.
