Pleasant Stay in Elk City

As an older property it has a noisy A/C unit which definitely kept the room cool, but alarmed our cat whenever it came on. Wonderful to find a hotel that welcomes pets and is very clean. Good location close to all amenities.

This hotel has been one of my favorites for many years. However this year was not so good. My room was dark with burned out lights. When I turned my blanket down a spider crept out. My wi-fi never did work. The shower and sink had slow drains. A lot of dust on the TV counter. The towels are very thin. I did get a great low rate on the room, so there is that. I will still come back next year. This had to be an anomaly. Probably just one of those things…

I didnt get to stay because she first told me that she only had a two bed room left and i said ok then she told me there was no light in the room and all the other rooms was dirty i will never rent a room from them again and now im fighting to get a refund

This hotel was a good choice for my needs for one night. The staff was very friendly and made sure that I had hot water and that the ac was cold before I walked in.

We pulled in the parking lot to find no cars there. Was this place closed? At registration, the clerk said it would be full later in the evening. Dirty lobby that smelled. The parking lot was full of trash. The whole outside needed a power wash and paint. The rooms were clean, linens decent, bathroom clean. The desk clerk was very helpful when we had to change our room due to a noisy air conditioner. Bed was comfortable. With no other cars in the parking lot all night, the place didn’t feel safe, though it turned out it was. Next morning there were no other cars in the lot. It is an inexpensive motel on Route 66 and the rooms were adequate. With some work on cleaning it up, it could be a nice place. You may want to explore other options in the area.

BEWARE: We called the local phone number for this OYO/Executive Plus Inn & Suites/Hotel Elk City Ok Route 66 to make a reservation with and spoke with a person who claimed to be on the property in the office. Upon making the reservation, we received many texts with links pushing us to “get discount”, “save big, by clinking on a link and pay with a credit card. When we arrived at this hotel, there was no one manning the office and when we call the local phone number that we had called initially, the person on the other line stated that our “reservation #” could not be located…it all seemed very much like a scam! Sooo…BEWARE!
