Our two days family holiday saga at The Bark : 1. Booking experience: Poor, we tried to reach the support team on friday night around 8:15 after visiting their official website which says support is available from 9 AM to 9 PM. However, out all 3 numbers, none was reachable in one go. After trying a couple of times on each number, one was picked by a lady who guided us a little regarding booking and early check in possibilities. For tariff she said drop a Hi on whatsapp and we will proceed there. Since i was planning to visit the very next day, I thought I will be able to book then and there but... poof! No response there onwards. It was quite necessary for me to discuss a few other things before booking as I have a small kid but there was no response at all. Went ahead with cleartrip booking with a hope that hotel will live upto its hype. 2. Location : A bit interior to the highway but I loved the location anyway. Bit secluded, just my kind. If you are coming through public transport, just call the desk and they will provide you a few contact for pick and drop. 3. Check in experience : Very smooth. As we required an early check in, they did allow us the same. 5 star for this courtesy. Just make sure you call them and confirm your early check in a day before arrival. 4. Rooms : Not as good as they should be. Small, cramped, no refrigerator, no almirah, cheap toiletries, no brush/paste, leaking commode, bit dirty and dusty here and there. What i hated the most was the bed. The head region was made of sharp wooden edges which was quite scary for the small kids. My kid did bumped into it once while playing on the bed. Hey support, please do something about it. Also, extra bed is chargeable by INR 750. This was something I wanted to discuss beforehand but alas! That absence of support. 4. Food : Damn Oh Damn. 5 star for the Cafe Mojo. Their food partner is just amazing. Everything, yes, everything we tried was just superb. Earlier we had planned that we will have the dinners outside but the taste of Cafe Mojo didn't let us. We were absolutely amazed and this got to be the highlight of this hotel/resort. 5. Checkout : Super smooth. Reception staff is courteous I must say. Overall it was an alright experience for the money we paid. We had a holiday which was nice-ish. Ofcourse they can do better and I am sure they will. Next time we are visiting Lonavla, we are definitely visting Cafe Mojo; however we cant say the same about The Bark: An Art Hotel.

I came across this beautiful resort in 2021 and since then I have been a regular guest! The staff is amazing, polite and hands on. Every corner of the property is adorned with thoughtfully curated artworks and unique show pieces that tell a story, inviting guests to slow down, observe and truly be present. The resort is pet friendly which for me is the cherry on top of the cake. If you’re looking for a place to reconnect with yourself , be inspired and soak in beauty in its purest form - this is the place to be

The hotel is full of art work all around. Very cozy, comfortable and economical.
The staff is quite helpful and very proactively assiting guests especially Amir Hussain and Ganesh. Comfortable and Cozy stay

I am disappointed as room was pest controlled. Due to the smell i suffered from headaches and ommetting. We immediately left the room. I have wasted my money.

Property is super clean and staff is very helpful. The food is to die for. Very fast service and location is also good.

Good things first: excellent and highly responsive staff. Right from front desk to housekeeping, everyone is highly attentive, polite and eager to help. We needed a mini fridge in our room (to store temp-controlled medicines, and it was promptly arranged for. Special shoutout to mohit from the restaurant, who took complete care of our meals throughout the entire stay. The food is tasty, fresh and in good quantities. Now for the bad part: the property has no view. We had booked standard rooms, which were tiny and in dilapidated condition. The windows faced the open restaurant area, so we couldn't open the windows at all. There was hardly any furniture in the room, the cupboards didn't close, and the tv and cable unit were precariously hanging from the wall. The walls had dampness. The rooms were so tiny that you open the room and directly jump onto the bed. Overall, do not expect anything in room or view experience from this place. This is a pet-friendly property. If you just need a quite place for a night, it might work for you. Room photos on the property page are kind of misleading (probably clicked when the property was new/freshly painted)
