The hotel is situated up some steep slopes so not easy to get to if you have a suitcase. I expected to pay hotel tax and got a safety deposit box which cost €50 total but on top of that they charge an additional €30 for air conditioning and €10 for the TV. The pictures used to advertise the hotel are way out of date, the restaurant is mor like a school canteen, no cloths on the tables just some dirty placemats that done get changed. There are multiple notices up saying orange juice at breakfast is €4 clear your crockery and. Cutlery yourself through the hatch into the kitchen which had a roller blind covering it but you could see how dirty the surrounding was. Dinner was limited and not great, desserts were either watermelon or galia melon which were warm and didn’t taste great-in addition to this offering there was one other choice each night-this included ice cream so hard you couldn’t get it out the tub or a milk pudding or jelly. When I accessed my room I found the previous occupants full ashtray on the balcony, knobs missing in furniture -the bed only had the bottom sheet on-I had to make the rest of the bed. I was there for a week and never had a change of towels or bed sheets in that time. The cleaners do not make the bed and apart from emptying one in each day did nothing else-didn’t clean dinner bathroom. The bar staff were only interested in looking at their phones and smoking and never washed their hands before preparing drinks etc. the only positives were that the pool appeared clean, there were nice views from the pool terrace over the sea, however the loungers were dirty and stained and the tables were never wiped down. Crete itself is beautiful and I would go to Crete again but this hotel is to be avoided

We loved our stay at the Ormos Atalia Aparthotel. It suited us perfectly and we had a brilliant week's holiday there. The location was exactly what we wanted, close to good beaches, a lively harbour, great restaurants, bars and cafés. Balí had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. The Ormos Atalia hotel has a great swimming pool with gorgeous views over the bay. We loved the breakfast and dinner provided by the hotel and it was delightful being able to take our food to the poolside terrace. Our room had a balcony that looked out over the terraced gardens planted with roses, vines and orange trees, and a view over the sea. It also had some basic catering facilities, including a fridge which was perfect for keeping cold drinks. The shower room was lovely and modern and we were provided with two towels each which were changed half way through our holiday. Everyone working in the hotel was helpful and friendly throughout, despite it being the last week of the season and they were probably exhausted after a busy summer. This is an unpretentious hotel, closest to the best beach in Balí, and I thoroughly recommend it for anyone who wants a gorgeous view and who can happily cope with the steps up and down to the town and beach. If you go in the heat of summer, be prepared to pay a bit extra for air conditioning if you need it. It is totally possible to keep your room cool by remembering to shut the shutters against the heat during the daytime.

We were a large family group staying in a nearby hotel (no pool or bar) Unfortunately we had to check out at 11am but couldn’t get into our following accommodation until 4pm We chanced upon Ormos Atalia as and asked reception if we could use the facilities for the afternoon, there was a small charge but the lady on reception was just so nice and couldn’t do enough for us, I wouldn’t hesitate recommending the hotel, we used a room while we were there so know they we good too. thanks so much Ormos Atalia we will return.

I stayed at the Osmos travelling alone great rooms in a top notch part of Bali, close to the centre and all the beaches. There is a hill to get to it but you can take steps or gradual lane. Lovely views across the bays and the mountains. Staff really friendly and very helpful, rooms very clean , basic bathrooms but totally functional and all you need for a holiday. Food is traditional greek lovely fresh fruit /tomatoes for breakfast with a choice of hot food. Dinner buffet style . I really enjoyed my time here and its so close to the quality area in bali with the nicest beach just round the corner

We have had the best time staying at this Hotel. Laki and Christiana are truly amazing and have made our Holiday, nothing was ever a issue. Room was lovely and views are breathtaking. We will definitely be back Next year.

The views from this hotel are amazing. Rooms are fit for purpose we had everything we needed. Pool area was nice and clean. Food was OK including meat dishes and vegetarian dishes, my two criticisms would be that there wasn't any signs telling you what each dish was, and not a great selection of puddings, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful
