Pool was closed and under repair. Rooms are worn with many issues (dirty floors, holes in doors and walls, molding missing). Some linen was found soiled once we checked into room. The customer service was excellent and staff was nice. We needed a clean blanket and staff accommodated with a new comforter. Same with hair dryer.

Check-in was easy, clean room but older attire, cool AC. Reserved King bed, got a queen, a little too firm. Fridge didn't work well. Parking was okay. Close to our destination, food and shopping.

Would not recommend staying here, I personally will not be back. I booked a room several months before in advance, specified a non smoking room. Once we get there we are given the keys and told how amazing our room would be but they had failed to mention we would now be in a smoking room. The smell of smoke was immediate and we went to ask to switch to a non-smoking room (which we booked). I was given a can of air freshener and told there were none available. We I know there were no vacancies but there were several months to reach out before showing up to relay they oversold the non-smoking room.

Where do I begin? We arrived on the property, and the “Inn” was “under construction.” The pictures on the website painted a much better picture than reality. Bravo to the photographer!
Several units had door handles that were smashed in and bolted in with padlock.
Our unit had a bathtub that dripped all throughout the night.
The comforters, both of them, had multiple cigarette burn holes.
The bed sheet underneath was clean at least, but still damp from being washed.
Door frame to the bathroom was split around the door latch and needed to be slammed as hard as humanly possible to get the door to shut.
The door trim around the front door looked like a Salvador Doli painting. One side of the door trim was nailed to the wall adjacent to the door frame, and the other one was half missing.
Pool was completely under construction as well.
Just an absolute hot mess of a motel, not an “Inn.”
On the positive side, I could log into my Netflix or Amazon Prime account on their TV service, and the lady at the front desk was very hospitable.

Friendly staff, cleanliness iffy
Booked the room last minute & we were happy to get a jacuzzi room. Check in was very friendly and efficient. When we pulled up to our room, there was an overflowing trash bag outside our door (which was still there when we left). The chain lock showed signs of the door being kicked in at some point and there was a fist sized hole in the bathroom door. Bed and linens were clean but there were long black hairs in the shower. We wiped up spilled water next to the bed and the towel was black from the floor being dirty. Mattress was extremely hard. All-in-all, the staff was friendly, we were thankful for a last minute reservation, but the cleanliness was lacking.

Very reasonably priced, unfortunately that was about it for positives. When checking in, we drove overnight and arrived at approximately 6:15am for check-in, the lady who checked us in came off as very rude. Once we got to our room, the comforter had cigarette burn holes throughout it, the sheets were stained pretty bad, the jacuzzi was very dirty, the small body wash was half used, used bars of the small soaps in the shower, shower handles broken, sink stopper was broken, the shower wasn't cleaned, a sizeable gap in the room door, the toilet was clean looked as though it may have been new. The other two front desk ladies I spoke with were pleasant and helpful.

The price was good. Under $100.00 for the night. Knights Inn is pet friendly and right off the main road. The pool was not open, so we found other things to do in Ashland. There was no breakfast available so we had to eat at a restaurant.
The room was okay. Basically clean, but not deeply clean like you would expect from a business catering to people.
There were several things that weren't clean, such as the desk chair, the bathtub, and the walls looked like they've seen some better days. Overall, the room definitely showed some wear and age.
There were trash cans chained to the building. One was near our room. I didn't like that, but the flies had a good meal. The staff was nice, but I probably wouldn't stay there again!
