We stayed here for a week in mid January 2026. The temps were a bit cooler than we would have liked, but there was enough for us to do in the area to keep us happy. What made us super happy was our balcony view - Building 5, floor 3, center unit. Oh my goodness was it amazing to wake up every day to the cove view and watch the egret, blue heron, and cormorant flight patterns. Then the eastern sunset colors! Wow! Our unit was a deluxe unit with two bedrooms, two full baths, laundry, full kitchen, and lots of space. Santee has several golf courses and lots of lake activities. We enjoyed a 3-hour cruise with the Santee Boat Rental where we were taken around Lake Marion to see wildlife and learn the history of the area. The only downside are the lack of non chain restaurants in the area. We ate at a few places multiple times instead of trying new things every day. Other than that, we will return when we want a peaceful stay with an amazing view. Staff were very nice and accomodating.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay at Club Wyndham Lake Marion in Santee, SC was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, check-in was by far the best experience we’ve ever had—everyone was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Our two-bedroom suite was extremely spacious and comfortable, and the lake view was breathtaking. The huge windows provided stunning views that we enjoyed throughout our stay. Although the cold temperatures kept us from using the pool, the resort still made our stay enjoyable by offering games we could check out and play in our room, which was a great touch. We were also excited to see that they offer boat and bike rentals, which we will definitely take advantage of on our next visit when the weather is warmer. Overall, this was a relaxing, enjoyable getaway, and we are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend!

This resort is well-maintained, the units have ample space, and the staff is very accommodating. It is a place more for adults wanting to relax and explore nature by foot or water. Otherwise, travel to places of interests for all ages, in other cities or states, may require driving more than 30 plus minutes.

When on vacation, you must check your unit.This habit is not just for you but, very helpful for the next person. As a person who loves to stay in the nice resorts and hotels, I find that it is helpful to check out your place of stay.

Family spent a week in a 3-bedroom unit at this resort. We had a smooth if not speedy check-in experience before getting to our unit, which was ready upon our arrival. The actual unit was expansive with a large living and dining room area as well as a spacious kitchen. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, we also had plenty of room for our family to spread out if anybody needed some space of their own. Unit was clean and well-maintained, and staff were quick to help handle any needs that arose. Overall resort wasn’t very large, but they did have a nice swimming pool and lounge area outside the lodge, which we used most days that we were there. Lodge had an activities room with games, puzzles, and movies that could be borrowed. Not a lot of activities in the immediate vicinity, but there were plenty of options if we were willing to drive up to an hour.

The whole facility was in great shape and the staff could not be more helpful. Not very far to major city of Charleston. Close to gardens, both Magnolia Gardens and Plantation and alsoBoone Plantation.

We asked if they had roll in showers they said yes. So we requested that, called in advance 4 times to ensure we had the accessible room, they confirmed. Got there and they had us in wrong room. Had to move the 2cd day and the room has a walk in shower not a roll in shower, tried to make it work for wheel chair person and was impossible, so we had to leave. No apologies and then they screwed up the charges for our room. Still trying to resolve. Room was ok but the carpet was covered in stains. Very impoverished area.

Our stay here was the best vacation we've had in 20 years! The employees were friendly and most helpful. The resort condo (#417) was spotless! The view from our porch over the lake was breathtaking! The grounds were manicured perfect and the pool area was beautiful with potted blooming flowers adorning it everywhere. My husband loved being able to dock our boat within seeing distance of our porch. He went fishing every morning and evening and enjoyed every minute. We will definitely be back!

Lovely small resort on Lake Marion. Lots of lake related activies, kayaking, boating, fishing. Staff are very helpful and friendly. There is ample parking. There are not many on site activites beyond the pool, but that suited us well. They do have bikes to borrow for a quick ride around the area.
