The suites were great. The staff even better. Did not have time to view Drake. Lot's of construction. Like to revisit in a couple years.

Updated, but strangely decorated. Close to some casual dining. Price more than doubled from Thursday stay to Friday stay.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. They have a wonderful breakfast in the morning. The people working there are very friendly and efficient. We’ve stayed there three times in the past year and always have a great experience.
The only downside is parking is hard to find after 9:00 PM.

Let there be light!
Great lighting! This is the first hotel room I've stayed in that had enough lighting. Good job! Also, it was very clean and the location was excellent. On the not-so-good side, the room door was SO heavy and stiff that it was almost impossible to open, and the parking was limited.

I would definitely stay again.
The hotel was clean, the front desk assistant was very polite and helpful. I wish I could remember his name to thank him properly he helped myself and mother to our room. I had my infant son in hand he hopped in effortlessly to assistance. Along with a kind warm welcome.

Hotel was nice enough, area was decent (Lucky Burger was solid). BUT I was very surprised by how much I could hear people next door and above me. Footsteps above were most surprising. But lots of sound from other rooms (woken up to someone else’s 4:30am alarm somewhere on my floor both mornings). Makes for an unpleasant stay.

The Home2 by Hilton near Drake University was a great place to stay. It was within walking distance to everything we needed, was clean, quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. Free parking in the lot, too. Thumbs up.

Room and facilities were very clean and well kept. I thought the hotel must be fairly new because of its condition. Asked the desk clerk how old the hotel was and she replied”5 years”. Good job!
