I left headphones in my room and a member of staff took them. When I rang the hotel to report them left in my room they said the cleaning staff has not reported them. My headphone have tracking ability so I watched as that evening they were being used as they left from the hotel…I called the hotel and the sister hotel answered. They said nothing they can do just let them know as there are no staff in the hotel to help so let them know where they are. I watched as they went to a bus stop and then an address where they were still on, I reported it to the hotel and again to the sister hotel picked up the phone. I told them the exact address but they said they couldn’t do anything but agreed it was clear what had happened to my property. The next morning I watched as my headphones were used and the hotel once again said nothing they can do as no staff at hotel. When the headphones went back to the hotel at 8:15am they said someone will be there at 2pm. We then told them if they didn’t get them we will making a police report. Suddenly 10 minutes later I got a phone call.. they had been found and will be sent back the next day. I asked if there would be an apology and they said there is something in the envelope with the headphones. I have attached a photo of the ‘apology’ I then watched as my headphones were still in use for the next 2 hours. It then took them 4 days to go to the post office to send them back. The note in the envelope simply said ‘I hope you enjoyed your stay’ no responsibility and clearly no consequence for their staff, next time I will go straight to the police.

QR code entry to the hotel to check in did not work. No one answered the emergency number. Only reason I was able to get inside was because some guests returned to the hotel.
