location is safe and quiet. are is a little desolate with some construction next to the highway. The construction has no bearing on the hotel but there are some detours. I do recommend staying at this hotel

The staff was amazing. Accommodating and very nice. Everything that we had problems with is out of their control. The rooms smelled like mildew and everything was damp. We switched rooms but the 2nd room was the same. Someone was running up and down the hallway at 1am. We didnt see anyone so it was either a ghost or it was the floor below us. The shower was pulling away from the wall and there was mold behind the door in the bathroom. The staff said they had storm damage a couple years ago and some of the rooms still have a smell. It was very late and we only needed the room for 1 night but if we were planning on staying longer we would have gone somewhere else. I dont think anyone should be staying in the rooms for health reasons alone. Until they pull up the carpets and get rid of the smells in the room I would not recommend this hotel. The lobby does look like it has been refurbished and doesnt smell at all. Unfortunately I think that's were the repairs ended.
