Our stay at Petra Hotel was pure magic. The lovely owners Petra and Kostas and staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, creating such a warm and personal atmosphere. We stayed in the Panorama Sea View Terrace room, and waking up to those breathtaking views of the Aegean was unforgettable. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh, beautifully prepared dishes that we looked forward to each day. The pool was another highlight—serene and perfectly placed to take in the scenery. Order a Spritz and cute little snacks. Petra Hotel is the ideal retreat for couples—romantic, relaxing, and filled with genuine hospitality. We left already dreaming of our return.

Our days at Petra Hotel & Suites in Grikos were unforgettable. From the first greeting we felt welcomed into a place run with real care. The atmosphere is quiet and refined yet relaxed, and every space is perfectly kept. We chose the Jacuzzi Suite and could not have asked for a better retreat. Morning coffee on the front terrace brought a panoramic view of the Aegean and the hotel’s pool, while the private back garden with its bubbling jacuzzi and comfortable loungers became our favorite evening spot. It felt like having two different outdoor living rooms all to ourselves. Cleanliness stood out everywhere—from the immaculate suite to the pristine common areas. Staff members were always ready to help with genuine smiles and thoughtful suggestions without ever intruding. The owner’s gentle manner sets the tone; her presence is calm and gracious, and her love for the property shows in every detail. Meals were another pleasure. Each breakfast was fresh and flavorful with local touches, and the ingredients tasted straight from the island. Simple, honest, and delicious. Petra is both elegant and deeply personal, a place where you can unwind completely and still feel connected to the spirit of Patmos. We left refreshed and grateful, already planning a return.

Words cannot describe the horrible experience we had in this awful hotel. They served us raw chicken and I got food poisoning, they ruined my vacation. Very posh and pretentious. Overpriced and bad quality.
