Our room was clean and comfortable but seemed to be under som kind of renovation. Half the room was empty where we usually have a couch, small table and a chair.

After working until well after midnight to clean up a wedding reception, I requested an additional thirty minutes for later check out the last morning of our stay.

By 8:20 am, house keeping was knocking on our door.

I explained that we had arranged a late checkout. At 11 am, again there was a knock and again I explained. Within minutes I got a very rude phone call from the front desk telling me it was “time to leave.” When I explained that I had arranged a late checkout, the employee said she had no documentation of it and asked who told me we could check out late. The entire conversation was cold and as if she thought I was lying. I wish I had gotten the name of the young girl who was working the desk the night before, but I did not. We were exhausted and I’ve not had issues at other hotels when I ask for our folio to be documented with a late checkout approved. We continued packing up and in doing so, discovered two roaches crawling across the countertop where our overnight bags were located. The room smelled of cigarette smoke when we checked in despite being a non-smoking room and did not feel clean.

I would not stay here again.

Room was Good; Service lacking

The hotel room was good and clean. The issues I encountered: on Saturday, the elevator was not working for a good part of the afternoon into evening. When checking out at the front desk, the associate at the time was on their phone, but did pause their call when I walked up. I asked for a receipt showing a zero balance (that I paid the balance.) This is a normal ask for those who travel for business. The person insisted that ********** would be giving me that (they have never done this). I politely informed her of such, and iterated I have received this every time I have stayed at that exact same Microtel location. While looking up my stay data, she continued to state that she wasn't sure what I would want since it wouldn't have a balance. I informed her this was the point. She eventually appeared to understand; however, my issue is the unnecessary lip I received from this staff member for something that isn't really her business why I want it, it's their job to provide it when asked. For these reasons, I knock two stars off the visit rating. Don't argue with guests asking for normal services.

The room was clean but the safety lock was broken and the main light in the room didnt work. But the breakfest was good the staff was good but the night crew front desk clerk was rude and very nosey. There were some shops nearby but i wouldn't recommend walking. My overall experience was 3 star would i come back possibly.

Rooms clean thr foam thing in the window need to be replace they're dingie looking,sink need a different faucet head because water runs everywhere. Over all the room were comfortable, bed sleeps good. In a perfect area,you will feel safe,they do monitor their premises. Desk clerk were nice and friendly. Wifi wouldnt connect my table/phone. Continental breakfast need some meat/eggs Other than that breakfast great. I recommend this place when you're visiting bossier.

Very friendly staff, clean and tidy room, both hot and cold options for breakfast.

If you’re traveling solo or just looking for a comfortable stay without needing much room. This is your spot.

Do recommend , would stay here again.
