Staff was very kind, friendly, and accommodating, which I truly appreciated. However, there were a few concerns during my stay. A spill on the floor extended from the front desk to the elevator and even up to the second floor, and it remained there from Friday through Monday. When I mentioned it to the front desk, I was told that sometimes the floor gets dirty and there isn’t anyone available to clean it. My room itself was comfortable, but the air conditioning didn’t work properly. Overall, the staff’s attitude was excellent, but cleanliness and maintenance could use improvement.

Room was a bit dirty (stains on the chair, cobwebs in the corners), and a lamp was missing on the desk. Hotel lobby was kinda dirty and looked like no one had cleaned up in a while.

The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable, however the rest of the hotel was not and the trash cans were overflowing.

Beware of scheduling a shuttle. We had one scheduled and it left early without us. We will not stay there again.

I liked that it looked freshly updated. Free breakfast was good. I didn't like that one of our pillow cases has a stain on it. Those are supposed to be changed.

My flight was cancelled and I was stuck in Grand Rapids overnight, so I booked here last minute. The property is well-maintained and has a decent breakfast in the morning. It is very close to the airport, which is convenient. I appreciated having access to the small gym facility.

However, I was on the second floor and my room did not have blackout curtains (they were a sheer, white curtain). It meant I could see out and others could see in. I also was next to the parking lot which had bright light shining into my room all night due to the translucent curtains.

I also requested a shuttle when checking out and had to wait about 25 minutes without it showing up. They said it might show up another 10 minutes later after that waiting. The airport is a 7-minute drive away. I ended up calling an Uber so that I didn't miss my flight.
