When I arrived in my room, it was really dirty. The floors were filthy, it didn't look like the bed had been changed and the shower had clumps of hair in the drain. The bathroom was generally dirty.
However, the staff were very kind and accommodating when I asked to change rooms. I was immediately moved to a different room that was significantly better.
The location is certainly convenient, within walking distance of the central area - restaurants, shops, Kayseri Castle, etc. But it's a bit of a weird area. Felt very safe though.
Overall, you get exactly what you pay for! It was fine for one night, but I wouldn't have been able to stay longer.
