We stayed at The Flokkas for a short break, well equipt rooms spotlessly clean and lovely staff. Pool area was a good size and most days we had the pool to ourselves so peaceful no noise around the apartments on a night either . I really cant fault the apartments at all they have all you need a safe in the room kettle fridge decent size bathroom too, will definately return amd stay again.

It makes me so sad that I only give these apartments 3 stars. This is our 3rd year back here, and unfortunately, we have been a little disappointed with the service. The first time we came, 2 years ago...it was such a wonderful place. Full of warmth and that Cypriot charm and wonderful hospitality. It was run by a family, we'd get a slice of watermelon by the pool, the bar served fresh orange juice, and we really felt cared for, valued, and looked after. We came last year. The family had left. Nobody is running the bar. It's disappointing, especially when we had to leave the premises to get drinks etc. But, it was quiet...and there's a decent restaurant right next door for a nice lunch. So it wasn't so bad, even though there was that something missing....the Cypriot hospitality from the previous year. Now, this year. We returned, and there are new people running the bar area. We thought, ah amazing... we have everything we need right here. Yet, sadly, we found the people checking us in and serving behind the bar abrupt and rude. Like they could not be bothered to serve a paying guest. We happened to stay in the week of a heatwave, 40-degree heat, no water melon by the pool, or any gesture of a cold drink. Cypriot charm and hospitality this time had certainly not been present. We decided to come to our room on one of the days to avoid the heat. Our toddler was napping, as was i (7 months pregnant). We had a very loud bang on our door, from the lady running things, telling us we were due to check out that day, there and then. My partner calmly told her that we had paid for 4 nights not 3, she went away and checked her computer (which surely she should've done in the first place) and she saw that we had indeed paid for 4 nights and that we were not due to check out that day as she was insisting. We received no apology. It's really disappointing to feel so unwelcome in a place we really do like returning to so much. The bar also operates a cash only system. We paid our tab of 2 frappes and an ice cream...we had worked out the exact total, of course they tried to over charge us, until we pointed out the menu and itemised all the things we had. The accommodation is perfectly fine. Very pretty grounds. Rooms spacious and clean. Although, we did have to battle ants in our studio this year. The cleaners are the unsung heroes, they work tirelessly, 12-14 hour shifts in the blazing heat ensuring our rooms are spotless and the grounds are well kept. The location is also great, a restaurant right next door and across the road with plenty of little shops nearby to get pretty much any essentials you may need, and a short walk to the beautiful beaches of protaras and the main ***** with all the bars, shops and restaurants. Would we return? Possibly. But unfortunately, this wasn't the Flokkas we knew and fell in love with this year. Bring back Cypriot charm and hospitality and it's the perfect place to stay i

We stayed there over weekend and was a nice choice. Greek island style hotel and room remind the Greek island room to let style.. It is rather old but clean room and normal price for Protaras area. There is also a kitchenette and fridge. Walking distance to the beach and Protaras area.

We stayed here 9 nights in September Great quiet location within easy reach of bars and Restaurants and 10 minute walk to the Sunrise beach 45 minute private transfer from Larnaca Room was very clean and serviced every other day by a lovely Vietnamese lady. Pool was clean, a little cold for some and flakes of paint land on you if windy while sunbathing. There is a bar and Restaurant but we never used but looked clean and tidy. I went twice on separate days between 10:00 and 11:00 to pay but nobody about in Reception and then got a note asking us to pay, the bill was £50 dearer than when I booked on *********** but I accepted prices had gone up since booking over a year ago so be aware of that. There is safe that you need a key for, cutlery, hob, microwave fridge and freezer, TV with BBC World News and balcony in room 110. The air con is great, once you figure it out, you have to take the card out when out the room or €20 fine to get back, which ironically, they tell you about on the door but not how to work the air con! I sat on two sun loungers and both were broke and less abled people may well have been injured. Overall i would stay again for the price and location and book direct but we rarely visit the same resort twice abroad as the world is big old place.

My husband and I chose these apartments because of the many reviews describing how quiet they were. Not any more! We checked out of the Flokkas apartments after one dreadful night. When we first arrived, there was a bar next door blasting out its show on loud speakers. We tried walking to the other end of the hotel complex to see if it was quieter there, but not much. Unfortunately the show went on until 1:30 a.m., and it's advertising promised live shows 7 days a week! We have never checked out of accommodation early before, even when the noise level at night wasn't ideal, but there was no way we could stay there another night. It would be fine if you're the late night partying kind because the apartment was quiet after 1:30 am and otherwise clean and comfortable.

Flokkas Hotel Apartments is strategically located at the heart of Protaras. It is next to the Protaras main road, surrounded by supermarkets, a plethora of shops, bars, restaurants and places of entertainment. Flokkas Hotel Apartments is owned and run by Panicos Paralimnitis who is daily on the scene keeping the customers under his personal care. Other members of staff are very courteous, helpful and efficient at all times. We stayed at Flokkas Hotel Apartments last year and were left with the best of impressions. Hence, this year it was our first choice for our Protaras holidays. We stayed in a single-bedroom apartment. Again, Flokkas Hotel Apartments lived up to and enhanced their reputation: our apartment was spacious, very clean, well equipped and in very good decorative order. Moreover, everything in it was fully functional. There was free Wi-Fi Internet connection that was very powerful too. Also, there was a car park at the front of the complex – very handy for those visiting with their own car. We give Flokkas Hotel Apartments the thumbs-up and are looking forward to going back there again!

This is our 4th visit to Flokkas and once again we had a beautiful relaxing holiday with them. Special thanks go to Marina on reception who made our reservations via email and constantly updated us through the year prior to arriving. Thanks also to all the lovely friendly staff who will do anything for you with pleasure and a welcoming smile. Also may we show our appreciation to the lovely very hard working cleaning staff who are around all day everyday, we had our room cleaned to perfection and bedding changed / toilet rolls supplied etc every day. It was quite hit during our stay so the air con was on in our room constantly at no extra charge. We can’t recommend this place enough. Fantastic small and friendly accommodation with beautiful grounds / bar / restaurant and pool. Excellent location very close to the main ***** but far enough away to be quiet. 15 mins walk to the beach. We absolutely love Flokkas hotel apts and long may they continue to provide such an excellent service which makes our holidays in Cyprus so special. We had stayed here in Oct 2016 and as we were splitting the holiday into two areas (Protaras and Paphos), this was where we decided to return to. It's a small complex with traditional Cypriot charm. We were in apartment 217 next to the entrance. Slightly smaller than 212 last time which had a seperate bedroom The bed was in the main living area but the apartment still had fridge, hob, kettle, toaster etc, good aircon and tv. They do need to tune in some uk channels though. The safe was free, also wi-fi which was decent. Pool area nice and quiet. Plenty sunbeds, was never busy. Snack bar was reasonably priced and they will also deliver food to the apartment if you want it. Only ever saw 2 or 3 staff who are all laid back, friendly and service with a smile. The apartments are situated in a quiet area and, after crossing the main road, only a 5 minute stroll to the top of the ***** where there are many good bars and restaurants, and a further few minutes to the sandy beach. Also highly recommend Red Indian restaurant in front of the apartments for their set meal deals. Overall we enjoyed our return to Protaras and the Flokkas and would have no qualms about using them further in future.
