预订乡村酒馆/酒店时，你不会指望五星级服务，而是期待体验当地生活。在酒馆里，这种本地气息非常浓厚，我们玩得很开心。食物还不错，桶装啤酒很棒。

房间虽小但有独立卫浴，而且很干净。对我来说，问题在于房间太热了。尽管天气又冷又潮湿，房间里却热得像蒸笼，部分原因是地暖管道。我不得不打开窗户，靠在墙上试图降温。我早早去吃了早餐，让我的伴侣继续睡觉。早餐是冷自助餐（只有周末才提供熟食早餐），还算可以。负责早餐的那位女士一直不停地跟我聊天，催我把我伴侣叫下来。我们是唯一的住客，所以我不觉得有那么急。早餐后，还是这位女士来敲我们房间门，告诉我们应该在十点前退房。这也太早了吧！结果我们不得不支付25英镑的延迟退房费。这让我们感觉我们不是客人，而只是个麻烦。

Welcome very friendly. Room very clean, comfortable and quiet. Bar staff also very friendly, in fact everyone I met at The Griffin Inn were lovely.

This was the perfect stop for us during our first night in Wales. Amazing staff and community. Wonderful room overlooking the garden. The food and drink was also exceptional.

This was a cozy inn with a fantastic pub and helpful staff! However, there is nothing for miles around except beautiful nature walks so if you want more, bussing or a car is a must!

Good location for a stay on the Welsh borders - friendly staff - room clean and well-appointed with good ensuite with nice toiletries and super fluffy towels. Dining in pub restaurant was very good, breakfast buffet very good too with selection of cereals, yoghurts, juices and cold cuts with fresh toast and croissants to the table. Close to River Wye and a village shop is within walking distance, as well as a garage with convenience store. There is a pretty beer garden too. Only drawback is location on main road means passing lorry noise may concern some - windows not double-glazed.
