It was very nice. The host is helpful an lovely. He showed us all the animals in the garden. We were able to see toucans and monkeys. Also he gave us good recommendations for Monteverde. The breakfast was very delicious. We had a nice time there!!

Friendly staff and clean room. The road approaching the hotel was in terrible condition. The parking lot was not paved, and difficult to drive on. The room had a few insects flying around.

Lovely place and location, definitely recommended
Highly recommended location, I really enjoyed staying here at this family run B&B. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really nice, my room was great, very quiet and comfy. The gardens are lovely and there is a great little deck to watch the sunset. Although the place is down and unpaved road I was only in a tiny 2wd car and this (and everywhere else in the area) easily accessible, just take it very slow. Would definitely stay here again

Wow! We feel like we hit the jackpot with La Casa de la Montana! We found this place when another hotel inadvertently cancelled our reservation and sent us here instead. We were warmly greeted by Sebastian who speaks impeccable English. When he showed us our room (Rm 8), we were blown away. It is a beautiful room with a gorgeous and comfortable king size bed, nice linens, rocking chairs and the shower of our dreams with a huge plate glass window overlooking the jungle. (It’s completely private so no worries about anyone seeing you in the buff. Only the monkeys and birds will have to deal with trying to unsee us in the shower.) We have our own private balcony, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, etc. We are impressed by the included breakfast that Sebastian’s parents prepare in their uber-clean and orderly kitchen space. We are excited to finally have good eggs, fresh juice and fruits, hot coffee and more. Note: When you first drive up to this hotel, the entrance side does not impress. Please know that what you see is not what you get as this is the cleanest, most updated, friendliest hotel we have experienced in Costa Rica!

Wonderful location in the middle of the rainforest. You can hear the high winds whipping above, but protected in the thick layers of the forest, just a small cool breeze standing on the balcony. Bed was very comfortable.
房间有点小，设施也比较简陋。倒也没什么大不了的，就是下水道里散发着一股难闻的臭味。老板（大概是吧）脾气不太好，早餐也很少。
天堂的一个小角落，不太容易找到，但却令人着迷。森林中间的小屋。但距离城市却非常近。非常适合游览周围的公园。很舒服。而且店主非常友善。
九月初我们在那里住了两晚。经理非常乐于助人，他帮助我们组织活动和交通。在我们的要求下，他好心地同意给我们换房间，以便欣赏美丽的植被景观（预订时，选择带露台的房间）。房子周围自然安静，距离市中心稍远（步行 15/20 分钟，因为地势较高，所以腿脚要好）。 我们一醒来就很高兴地看到了猴子、巨嘴鸟等。主人做的早餐很棒。我推荐！纯净生活。
地理位置优越，环境优美，环境安静，位于大自然之中，距离主干道不远。干净的房间，带有俯瞰森林的阳台（见照片），如果幸运的话，您还可以观察到野生动物和鸟类。友好、乐于助人的主人：我们到得有点晚，但他们耐心地等待我们。第二天早上吃早餐时，莱斯利给了我们一些很好的观光建议。早餐本身也相当不错。 Monteverde 的性价比不错。
