We stayed in the Cotswolds Shepherds hut it was beautiful. Everything you needed upon arrival so you could just dump your bags and have a cuppa. It was beautiful and peaceful throughout our whole time there. Everything you needed was right there we didn’t need to pack half the things we did! The bed was super comfy the hut was so warm and inviting felt so cosy on a night with the fire lit! Perfect and warm when coming back in from the hot tub! Everything was spotless lovely and clean. We had fresh eggs each morning which was such a lovely touch! And we did the alpaca feeding experience which was so fun as well! We got to meet the lovely owner of it all who was so warm and welcoming could’ve spoke for hours!! So so lovely and make our experience so amazing! Thank you !

We booked this hut for a peaceful hot tub break while the weather was nice and it couldn’t have been any better. Eden was so helpful and quick to respond to my questions before we booked, and it was so easy to get to by taxi. The hut and hot tub were spotless, the bed was really comfy, and the fresh eggs for breakfast was a lovely way to end the trip. We felt sad heading back home to a noisy city centre and could have stayed way longer. We will definitely be returning! 🐓

We recently stayed in the Herdwick Shepherd Hut, we had wonderful weather so close to York but set in a beautiful location with the animals. The dream place to visit, the hut itself was so clean, welcoming and had everything you could need. Fluffy towels, robes and the most comfortable bed. The hot tub was ready for our arrival and was perfect. We couldn’t of asked for anymore and really can’t wait to return

First time visiting the shepherds huts and my partner and I fell in love with it all straight away. The huts were clean and cosy and there was a nice garden area with a table and chairs in a semi private area. The area was peaceful with only the odd car driving past you down the bear by road. The beds were comfy and the shower was very powerful! My partner and I fed the alpacas on one of the morning where one of the owners met with us. She was so chatty and down to earth. We could tell that she was proud of what she has created, alongside her family. We would definitely want to go back one day! Maybe try one of the guys with a hot tub. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Stay here for a week in May 2025.Everything great from easy check in to departure.Very well maintained,everything you need for a week away.Lovely comfortable bed and great shower.Would highly recommend and hopefully be back again soon.

Really enjoyed our stay at Springwood Shepherds hut 16th and 17th May 2025. We stayed in the Cotswold hut and were very impressed with the high spec and quality of the hut. Everything has been thought of to ensure we had a very enjoyable 2 night stay. Nice additions were in place for my wife’s s 60th birthday celebration.The site location is in a very quiet and relaxing rural setting.The free range hens provided us with fresh eggs for our breakfast and spent a good time keeping us company too 😊.The Sangthai Restaurant close by is highly recommended with lovely food. We were lucky with great weather too. We would highly recommend the huts for a stay.

Perfect location, accommodation and setting. Highly recommend to try if you’ve never tried a Sheperds Hut Before. On suite, perfect cooking facilties, luxury Bed and outdoor seating with Fire-pit. Just 5 Huts (3 with Hot-tubs), Adults only and not pets because of the lovely Alpacas and farm animals.

My boyfriend and I stayed here and we had the best time. The check in process and parking up was super easy, the grounds were very clean and tidy! The huts are so spacious, so clean, so cosy and inviting! The beds are incredibly comfortable and have really nice quality bedding! The shower was powerful, so hot and the complimentary toiletries were also lovely. The huts were fitted with everything you’d ever need for a stay. Our favourite part of staying in the Jacob’s hut was the hot tub. The perfect size for two people and it was the most relaxing stay! We had the loveliest time, it was so peaceful and calming. We’d definitely come back!

Me and my partner really enjoyed the place we stayed in , we were in a middle of nowhere and it was peaceful , the hut we stayed was awesome it was warm and the huts are impressive inside and out . It has everything you need , the hot tub experience at night was amazing , drinking and enjoying of the ambiance of the place. It located in a small farm so you can literally see sheep’s near your area , we had the chance to feed the Alpacas as part of our activities we stayed only one night , we’ll definitely be booking again for 2 nights next time
