It’s not the old Motel 6 that’s for sure. I’ve stayed in a lot and they were like McDonald’s - you knew exactly what you would get. Not anymore. It could be good, it could be bad.

Convenient location to event at Magnolia Center (by car, not walking). At check-in, the clerk helped me out by making a couple of calls to my lost cell phone - great! Not only wasn't there a light on as Tom Bodine promises, the switch inside the door did not control a light; I needed to use a flashlight to turn the room lights on; fortunately I keep a small flashlight in my left front pocket. Bathroom door wouldn't close until I took a screwdriver to the screws in the hinge (also conveniently in my left front pocket; that's a crowded pocket; six more items). On the hook on the inside of that door, there were two dirty towels, in addition to the clean towels on the rack. My son found a roach (the finger end of a hand-rolled cigarette, not an insect) in his clothing when preparing for checkout; I hope the cleaning staff enjoyed the three slices of pizza we left in the refrigerator. The toilet flushed, but only when the handle was held down for at least two seconds.

Had 2 rooms. Both rooms.were dirty. Roaches in one of the rooms. No refrigerator, microwave or coffee pot. Tv didn't work. Beds were hard. I recommend the hotel be closed down. I would like a refund.

Very disappointed!! The desk manager was very helpful and nice. We arrived at night, and did not feel unsafe. The three rooms were horrible! The bedding had holes, the floors were filthy, the bathtub was dirty, shower curtains were moldy, towels were stained, fingernail clippings on the nightstand, the toilet seat was not attached, the bathroom door was falling apart and didn’t close completely, windows were dirty and one of the security locks didn’t work.

Dresser drawers taped up with electrical tape, very thin mattress, pillows the size of breath mints, very little toilet paper on roll with no spare.

The bed was wore out. The furniture was beat up. The light fixtures had the paint coming off. The floor of the bath tub had a hole big enough to get a toe in it. It was not at all what I was expecting.
