Bedding was dirty, had fresh makeup on the blankets & sheets, & blood on the mattress. I requested another room & it also was dirty with dirty bedding & had blood stains on the mattress pad & no fitted sheet.
I declined the 2nd room & was given a clean set of bedding to sleep on the pull out sofa in the 1st room I was given. The next morning about 7:30am the housekeeping manager called me & apologized for the condition of the room, stated she would personally clean it for me, & said that my breakfast would be no charge. I asked if we could take care of it a bit later as I was asleep. I called and spoke to the general manager at that location and requested another room due to not wanting to sleep on a pull-out sofa when I paid for a king-sized bed but the bedding was dirty and mattress was bloody. I pre-paid for a 5 nights stay.
He said that a room would be cleaned for me and it would take about 30 minutes to get it ready. While waiting for the new room I started doing my makeup and heard a knock on the door. A quite upset housekeeping staff person said that my room was ready and she needed me out of the room immediate. I asked her if I could finish my makeup and then go to the room. She went and got the manager. At that point I was in shock & decided to video record the manager at the door. He told me that he wanted me to leave the property & was calling the police. I asked for what reason and he said he didn’t need to give me a reason.

Door at check in was propped open. AC was set at a high temp and the room was very warm. Bathroom supplies were not refilled.

Bathroom needs improvement, otherwise perfect.
Everything was excellent but the bathroom was not eco friendly. No electrical outlets, door was too big for the size of the room causing it very difficult to move around it from the commode. (I stubbed my toes several times because of it. Don’t care for the walk-in shower without a vent fan causing the mirrors to fog up. Shower floor was slick. A shower grip mat could fix that.

AC was LOUD. Second room refresh of the week was disappointing. Just towels and bed sheets pulled up. No coffee refill or tidying up. Front desk staff was great

Even though paying over a thousand dollars, I felt like I got the “Motel 6” experience! ALL the ice machines were broken down the entire week. I always had to go down to front desk for ice the entire time! Housekeeping every other day and they did not vacuum at all. Air conditioning so high I was freezing. No way to control it other than turning it off which then resulted in suffocating heat. With the exception of the delightful “Andrea” (weekend front desk) staff was aloof, hard to find and unprofessional. Food was awful. Will never stay here again! Especially at those prices.

Andrea is the manager and she was very kind and friendly. It was always nice to see her smiling behind the counter when coming back into the hotel.

The property did not live up to my expectations of a Courtyard Marriott. It was more in par with a Super 8. The lobby was fine but the room showed poor caulking skills in the bathroom are. There were no storage in the bathroom so we just hung hotel hair dryer on the doorknob. The bathroom also had no exhaust fan. Carpet needed to be vacuumed. Worst of all, I had to keep trying refrigerator on. Every two hours the button needed to be push on. No bringing home leftovers to store and my ice bags could not be refrozen. That’s definitely low class.
The staff, on the other hand was very friendly and courteous. They did their best to accommodate guests. I was also disappointed that there was no breakfast. Each morning had to go out for coffee. Such an inconvenience. Yes there were coffee makers in the room but who wants to use those? You never know if they’ve been cleaned, how fresh the coffee packets are etc. Would I stay there again or recommend this hotel? No! When playing over two hundred a night, I expect better.
