Location is great, atmosphere relaxed, value good, noise ok, hotel service good but Cookhouse not so good, amenities adequate, as for everything else carry on reading. Room was cold on entering, turned on the thermostat to warm up, controls needed firm pressure to make changes, won't go below 19 degrees (I can't sleep in hot rooms) sealed windows so can't be opened at all, unlike other Premier Inns that have safety catches on but can still be opened, this isn't an old hotel only 6y since opening but already has signs that it needs to have re-decoration done as in my room - 108 - there are parts on both ceiling and walls where the paint is flaking/peeling off, damage done to walls creating holes, grime on skirting boards where something had been spilt but not cleaned off, between the tiles in the bathroom build up of dirt showing, vanity mirror didn't work, tv would only get 1 channel when tried to change only got a box pop up that said 'Data Only' so pretty crap, bed was comfortable but the pillows were awful, usually you get pillow choices but not here, these were flat and hard, I got bad neck ache from them in the morning and it was hard to get comfy at night. It was a good job I was in the room on my own as if my late hubby had been with me he wouldn't have been able to get to the other side of the double bed because a camp bed had been made up in there and was squashed between the double and another single making it impossible to get to. I have stayed in many Premier Inns around the country over the years but this has got to be the worst one, one that if I needed another overnight stay in the area again I would not be using...................Big let down and very disappointing.

Premier inn Skegness Easy to find. Friendly welcome. Extra towels were happily given out when requested. Room spotlessly clean. Only negative was that we were on the 1st floor and could hear the guests in the room above us stomping around. Tip: Book a table for dinner if you plan to eat there. We didn’t and couldn’t get in for 2 hours so we walked up to Wetherspoons (15 mins away) instead. We liked the box of buckets, spades and beach mats in reception you could borrow if you forgot to bring your own! We stayed the night before going to Butlins for a holiday and it’s a less than 10 drive away. We visited the Natureland Seal Sanctuary next door to the Premier Inn so it was convenient that we didn’t need to move our car from the Premier Inn car park to get there (it’s a lovely animal park - we loved seeing the baby seals who had been rescued from Skegness beach).

Despite lift and tvs not fully functioning to their maximum ability the staff at this hotel went above and beyond all expectations. Will definitely be back and hopefully the lifts will be working.

Decided to book a short xmas break at the premier inn skegness seafront arrived around the check in time and then paid our outstanding balance at that point there was no mention of certain facilities not working and what was instore for us. It was only once they had my money that then we were informed there was no lift working in the hotel every guest had to use the stairs regardless of age disabilities or luggage no help was offered so we were given floor three 76 stairs later we got to our room (out of breath and knackered). Entering the room all was good until we decided to use the tv which displayed a No signal message ,so back down to reception to then be told the aerial on the roof blew off in the wind so no rooms have tvs working. Back up the 76 steps again passing a couple of oaps struggling to get to there room on floor 4 so I helped them and was informed they have had no lift or tv for over 3 days. Once back in the room I now needed a shower and what a surprise No hot water so back down to reception again this time there was a queue with many unhappy guests so I gave up yes back up the 76 stairs again. We were going to stay longer and extend our stay in skegness which we did but at TRAVELODGE 500m along the promenade. I have rung premier inn customer service line to relay my trip details but they were as helpful as a premier inn lift or tv and could not careless. I highly recommend not wasting your money staying at this premier inn go straight to the new travelodge and avoid the staff and there excuses and b,.#sh,t.

First room noisy so moved to a quiet room. Bed was ok good shower, room was cool cold at times even though I turned temperature up to 25c, tv never worked all time I was there, was reported twice, on 4th floor and lift was broken over 3 days. Premier Plus room not worth the extra money, only difference is a coffee maker and a fridge. Staff were excellent, tried Cookhouse for Sunday dinner and it was poor.

A very friendly and welcoming team I found to be very helpful. Rooms were clean and warm. One of the better premier inns I’ve stayed in throughout my travels nationally. The food (breakfast and evening meal) were very good and the fact that general public come in to eat here was reassuring.
