地处爱丁堡城内皇家一英里的东端,荷里路德宫门口,位于卡尔顿山和亚瑟王座之间,位置极佳,出行方便,晚上却很宁静。酒店连着一块公共绿地,如同自己私家花园。公寓里厨具餐具齐全,走十分钟路程有Costco,买点自己动手做早餐也十分方便。5月初亚瑟王座山花盛开,特别惊喜傍晚的金山夕照,实在美不胜收。
因为酒店安排的问题,这次被升级到他们同物业的另一家酒店,离火车站更近,服务环境方面都很不错。
酒店就在荷里路德宫大门边上,透过窗户就可以望见王宫尖尖的塔顶,满满的历史感。房间很舒适,自己做早餐很开心。酒店到其他景点和市中心都要走二三十分钟路,不算太方便。酒店没有任何标志,找起来有点费劲。没有前台,也没有任何服务人员,进酒店和进房间要密码,却没有提前告知,一家人在街上冷风中站了好一阵。幸好携程客服给力,及时沟通好,拿到密码。房间在三楼,楼梯很窄,行李提上去比较吃力。这种没有服务人员的公寓式酒店第一次住,感觉还是不太方便,包括房间一些设备设施的使用都要自己琢磨(再次表扬携程酒店管家,远程解决电磁炉的使用方法,非常耐心)。虽然遇到各种各样的问题,酒店本身还是给人独特感觉,毕竟是在苏格兰王宫一墙之隔的地方,早起时喝着茶看着窗外,历史就在眼前。
这是英国之行最差的体验,没有之一。先说酒店,一个星期上4天班,等我们到店,无前台无人员,打电话过去说是要我去他的分部拿密码,我就搞不明白了,你一个星期上4天班,还要客人自己去找你们,你们开鸡毛酒店呀。离店的时候想行李存放一下,一样没人…….,
携程,你们能不能把酒店的服务搞清楚了再上架,不要这样害客户好不好,3晚花了我7000多,这就是你们推荐的酒店?大半夜的路上还有吸**的,我带着孩子,出点事算谁的,我到凌晨快2点了才住上酒店,小雨哗哗的下,你们想过客户什么心情么,来句补偿你几百块钱准备了事,差你那几百块了?

房间装修精致,每天都会搞卫生,窗外对着花园的风景。服务人员也亲切和蔼。位置就紧靠女王宫和苏格兰议会,去亚瑟王座也非常近。缺点是没有电梯,行李重的话点不方便,另外卫生间的淋浴没有全封闭,洗澡时会溅出部分的水,不过房间供热很好,地上的水比较快干。
一、酒店地段:毗邻荷里路德宫门口和卡尔顿山,出门直行几百米就是皇家英里,步行一公里左右到维瓦利车站,基本上爱丁堡绝大部分的景点和购物都靠步行解决了,虽然小累,但可以很接地气体验当地风景人情,
酒店环境:小而美,周边环境非常安静,酒店后门有个精致的花园,一楼就是一个很温馨的接待室,大部分情况下没有工作人员在,住客直接推门进去,想躺沙发休息,喝咖啡、上洗手间、洗衣服烘衣服,在这里都可以自助完成,随意,不用拘束
房间设施:办理入住后酒店会发个密码给我,这个密码是打开一楼接待室和房间通用的,出入就不用带房卡了很方便;我们的房间在三楼,扛行李上去有点不方便,多亏酒店管理员帮忙扛上去了;房间是新装修的,一切都很干净整洁,可调节室温;入门有一个小厨房,基本满足自己做饭的需求,多亏这个厨房,解决了吃饭的难题(爱丁堡吃的选择真的太少了);我们这次是一家四口入住,除了房间的1.8米大床之外,客厅的沙发拉开后是一张双人床,蛮舒服的;洗手间空间很大。窗外景致很美,安静惬意。
服务:酒店的管理人员Peter很亲切,也很有耐心跟我们介绍酒店周边的情况
几个小贴士:
1、酒店距离四百米左右有个小小的华人超市(好像叫美麒麟)和一家Tasco,太赞了啊,解决了不少吃饭的问题
2、爱丁堡早晚很冷,记得带厚衣服。
3、如果需要从爱丁堡前往伦敦(或者说需要在英国串游各个城市的话),建议提前(携程上是提前两天,我在淘宝是提前一天买)买火车通票,比每一程单买便宜很多啊,我们这次一家四口从爱丁堡到伦敦,在伦敦的时候去了剑桥和牛津,买了三天的通票,一共才花了不到四千块钱(从爱丁堡单程到伦敦四个人都要三千块了),而且通票是任何运营公司的火车任何班次都能坐,很方便。

位于荷里路德宫旁,干净整洁的公寓
这套公寓位于皇家英里大道尽头,紧邻荷里路德宫,非常干净现代,但也有一些需要注意的地方。
1)入住须知会在下午3点入住前一小时左右收到。邮件中会附上进入公寓的密码。公寓有两个入口,理论上密码应该可以打开两个入口,但我们的密码只能打开右侧的入口,也就是公寓楼的街道入口(穿过一条小走廊,然后在公寓楼左侧再次输入密码)。左侧的入口应该是所有客人都可以使用的休息室/洗衣区,但我没能进去,因为我们的密码打不开(由于入住期间还有其他问题需要解决,所以没有再去申请新的密码,详情如下)。
2)公寓有楼梯,不太方便行动不便的客人。需要注意的是,公寓主要位于公寓楼内,而公寓楼的楼梯是狭窄的螺旋式楼梯。
3) 我们住在卢兹曼太太家,那间一居室公寓非常漂亮干净。但是请注意,马桶完全不能用(一直流水,而且必须等水流完才能冲水,有时要等好几个小时)。有时候,冲几次水后又开始流水。酒店派人来检查过,但由于我们当时在外面观光,所以没有收到任何关于问题的信息。我们回来后,马桶冲了两次水后又坏了,持续了几个小时。
4) 如果您需要稳定的WiFi,我建议您自己购买WiFi设备或使用手机流量。酒店的免费WiFi几乎无法使用,无论何时都如此。
