This is the sort of place that defines agro-tourism. The place is on the side of a broad valley, at least a km from the small road. Its a quiet, beautiful location and comfortable within the landscape. The owner speaks German, Italian, Greek as well as the international language of good food, so with a little handwaving and a lot of laughs, you get his food: for us it was a large platter of cheeses, pickles, olives, prosciutto and homemade breads followed by simply roasted goat and a fresh salad. The house wine is very much OK, but this is the area that produces great Kalmatt wines so we had a bottle and finished up with a delicious dessert and a shot of our host's marc/grappa. Value for money: outstanding. Experience: priceless.
